I'm sure it will run you through the standard color calibration screens that any calibration disc runs you through which is more than just adjusting the gamma/contrast which most games have. I highly doubt it's going to magically change all the options for you though as a lot of people seem to think it will... Either way it's an awesome feature to add.
That is incredible! I was just about to buy a calibration disc to prep my TV for my Xbox One. That's a really great feature.

Like I said in my previous comment; on Target's website they are offering games that won't come out until April (Fable Anniversary) and June (Watch Dogs) of next year. Yet there are no Xbox One games that you can pre-order through the deal. Therefore the whole thing of them not being released yet shouldn't be an issue because it would just be selling the titles as pre-orders just like the ones I just listed.

Here's the only thing that would make me lean towards the alienation argument; they are including pre-orders in the B2GO offer, but there are no Xbox One games available even through that. They are offering it on every platform besides Xbox One.

Were all PS4 titles not streetdated?
I find it strange that this is the only review I've seen of the Xbox One version of Ghosts this morning that says that there is any difference in textures and detail beyond the lower resolution. IGN even said in their video that the texture work is identical between PS4 and One and that both versions look great.
