looks great. Go Slightly Mad Studios go go go
Not specified yet. Steam will surely get Baldur's Gate 1&2 that will not be the same with the Enhanced Editions though. No word yet about the Enhanced hitting Steam
PC gamers have been asking for a tactical shooter for a long time. Here is their chance to prove that they indeed want one
yeap, it's a win-win situation ;)
Truth be told, there is a high performance hit if your GPU's vRAM is not up to support them. But yeah, it would be nice if we were getting better textures in our games
yeap, there are currently lots of quest bugs that Bethesda hasn't fixed (and doubt they'll ever will unless they are game-breakers)
It's really impressive what the game's community is doing. The changelog is huge
and now we shall wait for a Skyrim map with these new assets :D
yeah, it would be great but you can't really expect one person to develop both characters (and animate them) and the entire city ;)
yeah, if you have a sense of humor this is a great video :D
Yeah. Project CARS keeps getting better and better. And it's still in pre-alpha stage :D
indeed. Looks great for a 2005 title. If only there were some HD texture packs for it...
Yeah, it looks promising. Hope that Arkane will deliver
Let's see:
1) Similar sound tricks to create a tense atmosphere
2) Similar control mechanics/interactivity
3) Similar physics
4) Similar atmospheric effects (at 1:01 with the candles)
5) Similar paranormal effects
totally agree. The distant mountains look blurry and low-poly. Since Project CARS supports DX11, we might see a tessellation workaround for issues like these
nope, they wanted to make it clear that it will not be as bad (or dumbed down/casual) as SimCity: Societies
Frame skipping is not the same with locking the framerate to 30s like most console games do. Don't know about the other games, but in this case it was an error on the game's renderer (as it was working fine without its day-1 patch)
yeah portugamer, that would be epic. Doubt though that we will see anything like that anytime soon :(
@arnyftw: Nope, PhysX 3.0 is compatible with both AMD and Nvidia. Bohemia is currently looking into using the 3.0 SDK in ArmA 3 (as it will use PhysX for physics, though I doubt if they'll have a hardware GPU mode for those with Nvidia cards)
yeap. Looks bloody amazing :D
