"I am in some way surprised by this" said literally no person.
Careful, he's gonna give my review a hate out of 10
I really wish you had gone more into the actually interesting part of this, which would be the critical discussion part. You're absolutely right; like Undertale or don't, discussion around it is oft-toxic. I will say, though, the whole "it's not a true RPG" point is really weak in my opinion. You're getting more hung up on the way the game is categorized than on the game itself at that point. I'm all for writers vocalizing dissenting opinions, because it adds to ...
Video game journalism.
Actually take a look at the content you're commenting on, and you just might find out! :D
Persona 5 is absolutely my top choice.
I will definetley say that in playing Pyre, it took me a bit longer to get what they were going for visually. I think its goals are a bit harder to communicate outside of playing it than was true for Bastion and Transistor.
Well said. I think the sentiment you're talking about is something that gets echoed every generation (at least the last couple), but is always worth being put eloquently every few years.
What a time for a game to be this real. Takes some honest courage.
How big is the player base these days?
I'm honestly this surprised this didn't happen sooner.
I love how nobody in a million years expected the game to be this good.
You had me at '70s
I don't even know if this is better than nothing.
And they say Kickstarter is dead.
Why do want to play this so much?
I never like saying that a new game changing up its formula is objectively a bad thing. Reserving judgment until it's in everyone's hands.
Kenny makes a good point about there even being appeal for those who aren't always Kirby fans. As one such person, I can't wait to try it out.
Good to hear the quality and quantity of the main game were both kept up in the DLC.
Not particularly. People are going to it for portable ports of games that were previously only on consoles or PC, as much as they are for the Nintendo games.
Sometimes a fun thing you can try doing when you comment on an article is reading the article. :)
