It wasn't a slam against the Vita. I'm not giving out false predictions either. I'm just saying that Sony needs to improve the Vita's library and price if they want to stay afloat. Nintendo was having the same problem last year.
Hmm... looks like you need to push a button with your other hand to get it to work.
He's right that it's a pain in the ass... but the Vita's downfall? Get outta here.
Price and a lack of compelling games will be the Vita's downfall.
You just strung this article together on a weak theory you just thought up.
"There's a lot more games with Mario in them... I think I'm on to something!"
So many things wrong here:
*Playstation site creates article telling people not to buy a Wii U
*Entire basis of that argument is that Nintendo is worse than Activision
*Terribly thought out "evidence" is presented
*Blob of text is ...
Hufandpuf, you clearly didn't read the article. Hell, you didn't even really read the summary at the top of the page. Uncharted isn't mentioned. Drake is the name of one of IGN's writers.
It blows me away how many peope will go out of their way to DEFEND these anti-consumer practices.
The GTA and RDR expansions are good examples of DLC done right.
Air Ride? You have my attention, Nintendo.
Took shots? How so?
The Wii U has a strong launch lineup, yes. HOWEVER, many of those games will have been several months old by the time the system launches. Nintendo doesn't have to worry about getting Nintendo fans to buy the Wii. They also want the gamers who haven't given the Wii a second look in years.
That's why Batman, NG, and Mass Effect 3 aren't going to win over too many converts. Hopefully Zombi U turns out well because it's lo...
Guess you can't expect everyone to actually read the articles they comment on. It's not trashing the Wii U. It's about gamer perception to Nintendo's lack of information. Nintendo wants to win over PS3/360 owners but they are holding back key information that might convince them to buy a Wii U.
Forbes wrote an entire article claiming Wii U inferiority based off of one picture? This is almost as good as last week's CNN article.
Good point. Although Nintendo was able to show off several Japanese games yesterday. But yeah, Japanese devs pretty much control handheld gaming.
Check out the article, I think there's a lot of good stuff coming to the Vita. I just think Sony is blowing it when it comes to properly showing them off.
It looks too thin to be a charging cradle. And in all likelihood the charging cradle will be horizontal like the 3DS' so it won't fall or block the TV.
Sorry, that's exactly the reason I took it as a negative comment. Thanks for checking it out.
It's a pretty impartial article, actually. I'm not dying to get the game myself, but I think Nintendo is using their IPs in the game because they hope to make them more successful with wider audiences. Thanks for your constructive comment.
I never thought Ubisoft would beat a console-maker's keynote but they did. Especially Microsoft. They just seem to be on auto-pilot now.
Hopefully they've given the console itself a little more personality. It looked pretty bland last year, IMO.
Hmm... I'd prefer built-in BC.
But it could be a good way to play games you don't own.
A good Smash Bros. clone done right might encourage Sakurai to try to top it (which I'm sure he will). So while All Stars is a ripoff, it might just give us a better Smash Bros.
I'm not sure I like the Super system in All Stars though.
