As long as it plays like COD4 I'll be happy. My M16 and MP5 need to both work like they did in COD4. Maps need to be the smaller, more tactical size like the COD4 ones as well.
I have it pre ordered either way, but it's nice to see and hear that it plays a lot like COD4, the people at CODXP are giving it a lot of praise.
MW3 looks NOTHING like COD4. Please be at least be realistic if your going to say something negative about the game. It's not as good of a graphical improvement as MW2 was over COD4, but look at all the internal struggle IW had, if they can give us a fun game that plays more like COD4 and looks like MW2, who is going to complain? There are far more important things then graphics when it comes to games.
Comparing PC graphics in all the BF3 trailers to 6 year old hardware i...
Not sure why you have disagrees Raven. All the Battlefield 3 trailers have been PC. It's not really fair to compare the two games, I think they are targeted at totally different audiences, of course I think EA obviously wants some of what COD get's, just not sure they will get it.
You realize it's part of Microsoft's slogan that multiplatform games are "Better on the Box" right? I mean I hate to be the one to break it to you.
He may indeed be an Xbox 360 fanboy, but this wasn't a troll post. I mean how would a Xbox 360 fanboy troll an Xbox 360 article?
Well I'll say when your playing Search And Destroy on Call Of Duty and you need a 1 v 4 clutch to win, your heart is definitely pumping.
COD is fast paced, so I can see where it's be considered quite an adrenaline influenced game.
Dang, Microsoft is busting out some great looking bundles. This one looks fantastic too. Love the Gears 3 one as well. This one will definitely sell some Boxes.
No offense, but didn't we hear that when Battlefield Bad Company 1 and 2 released? Same with Medal Of Honor? The Call Of Duty games have had steady growth with each game, the fact that Call Of Duty is heavily marketed towards console owners also helps them greatly.
Don't forget, Dice/EA is marketing BF3 mostly as a PC game. Now I'm withholding judgement on the game itself until I play it on a console, but it'd be a pretty ignorant statement to say Battlefield ...
You are lumping every Call Of Duty together, it's not the same developer ie Ubisoft with Assassins Creed. Which is an annual game.
This is the third Modern Warfare game in 5 years, which is actually a little longer development time per title then Uncharted, Killzone, Bad Company, Mass Effect and several other top titles.
Now I'm not saying COD is better then those games or anything, but let's not exaggerate either.
Isn't a September beta a little late to actually fix any issues that come up with the retail game? Usually beta's are at least a few months out from release, like the Gears 3 beta was in May, and it releases in September.
Anyway, just my two cents.
I don't see this as something a lot of people would be interested in. Not just because of the cost, but who wants to look like a fool wearing something like that all the time? Are you going to buy three or four if you have family or friends over?
I think it's nice for those interested and I'm sure it'll find some sort of base, but it's not for a guy like me at all.
You do realize DVD is still the majority in the world right? Not by a little either. Also, DVD/Blu Ray has absolutely nothing to do with anything...
Saturn was amazing! I still have mine.
I've seen some pretty good video's of this game being played and it picked up everything perfectly. The problem is that in a lot of the video's we've seen the people playing the game lunge forward and get out of the Kinect's range.
If you play the game correctly you shouldn't have a problem. I know I've never had a Kinect game give me issues when reading my movements, but my son sometimes does, because he moves too far up ect....
...
The demo is fun as hell! I guess I'll have to go order this. I hear it comes with Fruit Ninja Kinect as well?
Dreamcast was awesome! I agree with PS2 and PS1, I loved those when they came out, just goes to show that Sony has lost it's way. Especially in what the American consumer wants.
Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary is creeping up the charts as well. Not too shabby, look's like the the Xbox 360 players aren't worried about Battlefield 3 not being shown or talked about on the console. It actually worry's me enough to not pre order it, still might buy it at some point, but would like to see how it turns out on the Box.
There is only one PS3 exclusive on that list. Looks like PS3 gamer's are buying the same multiplatform games as the 360 owners, except in smaller numbers.
Not sure why people still continually say ignorant things here.
Getting the 360 version for sure. Most people thought all the early Skyrim footage was PC or PS3, must have been a shock when everyone first found out it was on the 360. Kind of like Rage at E3 a couple of years ago.
Bethesda pretty much always does a great job for everyone though, not sure why anyone would be worried about this game, looks amazing!
You realize COD is made by two different companies and the Treyarch games play completely different then the IW ones right?
I mean would it make people feel better if they called the Treyarch game "Super Happy Funtime Shooter"?
COD is on a two year development cycle, just like Killzone, Uncharted, Mass Effect ect....
So stop dramatizing about things you obviously know nothing about.
As for DLC, I don't buy it muc...
I upgraded my pre order to Hardened Edition as well. I mean for the extra $20 you will get a lot of content. It's a good way to try out Elite without paying the full price.
I'll also be glad when they patch WaW and COD4, get rid of the cheaters there and implement those stats into Elite as well. Not sure why people are complaining so much about the price. $50 is about what the DLC alone would cost anyway, plus you get the chance to earn things for your clan/teammates....
