Why are there so many disagrees in here? I wish fans on both side would stop being so sensitive and overprotective of their respective consoles/games.
I am mixed on these things. It seems like every week were getting some new remake thrown at us. I definitely wish we could just play our old games in the PS3. I used to have a BC PS3 but it broke.
I like the MGS and God Of War ones, but some of these other ones are sketchy at best and seem to be just out there to make money.
Well you could technically say the same thing about the Wii over the Gamecube, but in fact it was still next gen and still brought something fresh and new to the forefront.
Developers have been pretty up front saying it has fill 1080p and is more powerful then current consoles...so it's next gen in my eye.
Have you not noticed how far ahead in specs the PSP was in comparison to the DS? Nintendo doesn't win on horsepower. In fact, no company has ever won a generation with the most powerful console. It's always innovation and fun games, mixed with affordability.
I own a 3DS, wanted one when they first came out, but I thought $250 was too expensive for a handheld, so when they dropped the price I got one. I would like a Vita as well, but $250 is just too expensive for me. ...
I own a PS3, I was just stating an opinion. Mostly I was stating that I'm sure Sony expected better American sales when in comparison to the previous two generations.
Clearly the PS3 has underperformed to what the PS1 and PS2 did. That was my point. Nothing mean spirited or hateful intended.
Nintendo is fine and will continue to be fine. The Wii, 3DS and DS are all selling very well. Even the Gamecube which sold poorly, made a ton of money. I am looking forward to the Wii U, hopefully it's got a sweet price point. How many people would seriously turn down a next generation console if it's selling for $299? That's just my opinion, but I think Nintendo is going to continue to be fine.
Well I'm sure Sony would admit to having sales in North America below expectations as well. It's all relative honestly. I think Microsoft has done a decent job of trying to appeal to the Japanese market, but an American company is always going to have trouble understanding what Japanese people want. That works both ways though, which is why Microsoft does so well in America.
I think if Microsoft had launched Kinect with something like the Nyco Zoom it might have had a...
Halo 2 offered online for consoles for the first time. Could be why it also got a nod above Halo CE.
I like the list, I loved the original Goldeneye and spent countless hours on COD4 and Halo 2.
This is pretty good news. I love unlocking avatar items! Maybe a Snake Eye patch or camo? would be pretty slick!
Arkham City and Rage for me!
That's funny because even in a video game I never do any evil sided things because I always feel bad about it. So in KOTOR 1 and 2, Fable, Infamous, Mass Effect and any other game where you can choose your morality, I'm always a good person..like I try to be in real life.
Still I don't really appreciate anyone lumping every gamer together. I mean there are hundreds of millions of gamers out there and of course there is going to be some that are going to do bad th...
Actually this looks freaking amazing! Why would it get cancelled? I like the take on the first person view for a Marvel game.
Then why comment?
I think this looks fantastic, the more ways for me to earn Achievements the better!
Some of those games got a bad wrap, I like a good majority of them. I think there are probably some games that don't need a sequel, but certainly Left 4 Dead, Bioshock and Final Fantasy aren't among them. I actually really enjoyed FF13.
I'm sure you probably thought the DSI had lost when the PSP GO was about to hit the market as well huh? I think it's funny that the 3DS gets a ton of hate, but now with it's price drop they are selling crazy good.
Of course were going to see a redesigned version next year with another analog stick. If you think the Vita is going to outsell the 3DS at $250 then your probably going to be in for a surprise and not a very good one.
I personally would...
I am surprised you were the first to comment on the misuse of the word "look" when it clearly should be "looking".
Some of those games look pretty good, but I don't think I'll be able to afford a Vita anytime soon. $250 for a handheld is just a bit too much for me...especially when you will still need to buy a game.
I seriously doubt anyone at Activision is worried over Battlefield 3. Honestly, the Battlefield games and the COD games play totally different from each other. I doubt a person who has fun on COD would have fun on Battlefield.
So I honestly don't think people will just up and not buy COD and opt to buy BF3. If anything, I think people will buy MW3 and then try out BF3 just to compare.
That all being said, BF3 will face the same scrutiny as Killzone 2 di...
I love this game! It seems to be getting a wide array of reviews though, some great, some decent and some bad. I think people are having a difficult time reviewing it. I can understand that. I definitely wouldn't put it up against a Gears game or anything like that, but for a first horror/mature Kinect title, it's definitely pretty good.
Thanks for the tips. I had seriously no idea you could replace those things. I figured once the batteries went bad or whatever they were worthless.
I'm not very technological though, so I kind of suspect I'd suck and ruin something that I tried to fix.
