I'm exactly the same. I think I was also 13 when it came out...
But it was so beautifully campy. I don't think I'd love Barry Burton half as much as I do were it not for the slightly odd-looking bloke playing him in the first game. BARRY BURTON.
Resident Evil 6, Perfect for: People who don’t actually want to be scared As it says in the piece. It's the non-scary scary game.
GEARS OF LOL.
No darling, this site wants to make a joke and something of a satirical point on the fact all news sites the world over are reporting exactly the same thing. It's a light-hearted dig, my dear. Also if you'd paid any attention whatsoever to the site as a whole you would see they don't report news like other sites. But hey, I suppose that would involve actually paying attention to something rather than just blindly reacting like a complete numbskull. My love.
Umm.. the images are 1280 by 720. That's true 720p.
This is brilliant. You can pick out each and every person commenting here who hasn't actually read it. Oh N4G, you so crazy.
I just wanted to say: you're brilliant. The best N4G commenter I have ever seen.
See, that's a more reasonable view. People demanding 100% completion of a game that takes HUNDREDS of hours to finish obviously have no idea how this job - and it IS a job, not hours and hours of dicking about each week - works.
Being pedantic, but it's not journalism at all - it's criticism.
Who said they hadn't reached level 10? You've just made that up in your own mind.
They might do it tomorrow!
Burnout Paradise - good call. Criterion did excellent work there.
That's the point though - they're putting aside time to add to the old game. It's not just a patch, it's the kind of content a lot of other developers would release as DLC and charge players to play. Instead they're releasing it for free, giving a new lease of life to a year-plus old game.
Sony themselves say it's fake. Not that they won't comment - it's fake.
It looked way too rubbish to be real anyway.
Just out of interest, has ANYONE actually read the words in this article? Nobody seems to have picked up that it's a 'where are they now?' like you get for bands, or ex-sportspeople, and that it's a joke. You all seem to think it's a dissection of the situation surrounding why there are no mascots this generation. It isn't. It's just a daft joke article.
You say this, when the OPINION PIECE clearly says it's in favour of Bad Company 2 at the end? Hmm.
Don't all websites look for hits? Isn't that what websites are about? And what on earth is wrong with having an opinion and voicing it in such a well-written, eloquent fashion? It's not trolling, it's not flame-baiting. It's a games writer telling the world he doesn't like one of the most popular series around today. Not changing anything, just 'putting it out there'.
I loved how on Actua you would press the button and they wouldn't actually pass/shoot/whatever for a second or two because of the mo-cap animation. Well, I say "loved", I mean "hated".
