I won't comment on the score since I think scoring systems are useless anyways, but I can tell you that watching someone else play metro last light is not going to give you nearly the same experience as playing it yourself.
The game is all about getting immersed in it's setting through it's story and, more importantly, it's mechanics. It's really hard to immerse yourself in that world when your are just watching Artyom being piloted by another person.
This is from a game where a woman can damage enemies by punching them hard enough that it summons a dolphin.

I don't really get hyped like I used to, counting down the days until games released, or going out for launch events, but I still have a ton of fun with games.
What you're essentially saying is that if you're not hyped up about the new Game of Thrones episodes to need to see them on their air date, and instead just DVR it and watch them when you have time, you should just watch something else.

I'm running a GTX 560 Ti, and frankly except for metro last light I haven't played any games where that wasn't enough to run everything at max settings.
Since I'm not someone who plays a lot of graphics intensive games, I don't see myself upgrading for at least another 2 years.
From what I've seen Chrono Cross is a very polarizing game, everyone I know either liked it, or absolutely detested it.
Though mainly what I remember from that game was giggling constantly when I used Bushwhacker to kill enemies.

Do me a favor and just try to cut this unending GOTY talk out for AT LEAST a few more months. The games aren't even released yet and we've already got people saying these games are GOTY?!?
I really do think the industry would be better without this whole GOTY rage fest every year. Every individual is going to have a different perspective, I don't need a big news site agreeing with me to validate that the games I love are amazing.
Those games are engaging, which is much more important than being simply fun.
To use an example, imagine if someone had looked at Schindler's List and thought "This movie needs more fun in it!". We'd call them nucking futz, the movie was no less engaging because it wasn't a 'fun' movie.

Kai Leng was one of the worst parts of ME3. Definitely the worst part outside of the ending.
They tried to fit a 'badass' anime ninja into Mass Effect and ended up with a terrible cheesy and nonsensical antagonist who is only effective because of his bull**** cutscene powers which causes Shepard to forget he actually has abilities or any weapons except a pistol.
Except they really can't do that due to the Green ending.
Red and Blue I could see them playing around with, but Green has all life in the galaxy (even plants apparently) remade into cyborgs at the genetic level somehow.
No matter how far you take the story into the future you won't get away from that huge of an impact.

Because no ME game has had starship combat outside of pre-rendered cutscenes, and planetary exploration disappeared after ME1.
If I had to make a guess it's just going to be a new blank slate avatar.
The problem with making a story about a specific ME character is that none of the BW protagonists have established personalities, because they need to have the ability to be good or evil. You can't take Garrus for example, because Garrus has a distinct personality and if you give control of his actions to the player, they probably aren't going to line up with his established personality.

I think EA having exclusive rights is a bad idea, but not necessarily because it's EA.
Any exclusive deal cripples competition, just like what happened with Madden (anyone remember NFL Blitz?). When you HAVE to buy EA if you want star wars there's less incentive to make the star wars games good.
Well why would they change their strategy?
All they need to do when something goes wrong is hunker down, wait out the rage for around a month, and once everyone's forgotten about it, and stops reporting on it, claim that most people weren't bothered by the problem of the day.
It's worked pretty well so far, gamers have short memories and loose wallets.
