Brand loyalty has always seemed overrated to me. Social media certainly has kept up the pace to inform consumers and change their perspective when it comes to brand loyalty. Many Xbox fans jumped ship last year when Microsoft implemented the original policies for the Xbox One and part of that was because of information found on the internet. Casuals are being informed more and more every day and doing more research. Good points overall, majiebeast.

Agreed with both you and torchic. This is only the North American (United States and Canada) market that the article mentions. Thing is, of course, is that some users will completely neglect the fact that there are other continents and countries out there that matter, too. Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America are still very much in play regarding how much of an impact the different consoles will have in their parts of the world. Global sales tell the current story of the PS4, Xbox One, ...

Aww, no Pikmin 3 or The Wonderful 101? Not to say the list isn't good because it certainly is. I really like those games, including what is on the list.

No kidding. It sounds like the game director needs to have a serious talk with that product manager. I hope it's just an error of some sort, but that's very glaring given how it seems like Driveclub can be suddenly gone if your subscription expires even though you paid for the game.

I totally agree with you on this. Last year was plagued with broken, unplayable, and buggy releases. Total War: Rome II, Aliens: Colonial Marines, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, Ride to Hell Retribution, Sim City, Day One Garry's Incident, and (of course) Battlefield 4. All of these games had numerous problems upon their release. Any one of them that had a day one patch still had numerous problems.

This was actually an issue I brought up last year, too. I did so whe...

I don't have an answer for that. Capcom just doesn't seem to be in the right mind anymore. The movies are largely hated, but they keep pushing them out. My reaction to this as shown by Randy Marsh and Darth Vader:

Thanks, s45gr32! Even though a few people commented, I can see that there is a large interest in Kickstarter projects being covered. I can add this as a monthly entry on N4G. There are a lot of interesting projects to be seen on Kickstarter for sure.

Thank you very much, thorstein! I really appreciate what you said. I could make this a monthly contribution to N4G. I could look up new projects and see what has been added to Kickstarter, then link them in the blog.

And dude, I can't wait for Might Number 9! =D

Thanks, FogKnight! Yeah, these projects are certainly ones to check out. Looking at the comments, it seems that some readers want to see this type of blog be a regular thing.

Agreed. Resident Evil 6 sucked and was a complete sham of an entry into the series. Forced, unnecessary, and lacking in any legitimate horror, Resident Evil 6 was the final nail in the coffin. Yet, Capcom keeps pushing the series on like the virus riddled zombie it has become.

If it is true that Resident Evil 7 is on the way, then I think the following video shows my opinion on the matter because at this point a lot of us feel this way given Capcom's milking of the franch...

Me too. I hope that it will be a successful end to the story that has a great conclusion.

I totally agree with you on this. The evidence speaks for itself as Dan is the one who attacks Joe over Twitter of all places and proceeds to get pissed off over that decimal point of a review score and claim Joe was "misrepresenting" the IGN Titanfall review. I'm not a fan of the decimal point system in reviews. This especially goes for scores that barely break even when it's a .8 or .9 out of ten. It's like, was the game that short on expectation that you can't giv...

I don't often tread the IGN site for the very reason of their own forms of sensationalism and questionable reviews, but this Dan Stapleton isn't being very courteous here. He attacks AJ on Twitter on his tweet over the hype surrounding Watch Dogs because he acts pissy over Joe's thoughts on outlets giving Titanfall near perfect scores. And for what? To start a Twitter war? Twitter is how many in the gaming industry get in trouble. Apparently, Mister Stapleton doesn't realize t...

It does seem rather sudden for there to be a negative shift against The Evil Within. I know survival horror is a genre people really want to be well done these days, but we haven't seen a lot of the game yet. I'm going to leave my impressions of it for later when it comes out and what I hear from others. For now, I'm still interested in the game.

I would say fanboys and trolls. A positive story (despite the company it is about) can't be enjoyed without someone out in the internet wanting to troll or write how much they hate *insert company here*. It's sad really because they aren't opinions so much as they are actually scathing remarks.

So the author believes that because of the long delays of these three particular titles that the hype won't meet with the eventual or "eventual" release of them? That is a rather narrow-minded way to think about them. You can't hang up your gloves and give up just because there hasn't been much news; however, you shouldn't hype yourself up too much to begin with. Yes, development hell cycles occur with projects, but this sort of opinion screams neediness of informati...

I agree. The "must-have games" notion for systems is exactly and completely subjective. I don't think that saying both the PS4 and Xbox One have no "must-have games" is impractical. That's just like people saying the new consoles "have no games". Both statements are unrealistic.

"A games worth and desirability is surely down to the individual consumer, we all have different tastes and different thresholds of what makes a good game be...

Yep, yep, I know. I had a blog regarding it when the Kickstarter was successfully funded. Now I only have one thing left to decide: which platform should I get Mighty No. 9 for? >.<

No kidding, right? Smash Bros is looking more and more fantastic. Mega Man is being done justice from this team more so than Capcom has done lately.
