Because of extreme time constraints and my love of the genre, and because there are a few good ones, I can. But it did take that trifecta to make it happen. #2
Love Knights of Pen and Paper and Anomaly. Did 9th Dawn ever get a story? I thought it looked and played wonderfully but was, the early iteration that I played, bereft of a story, had barely any quests. Kinda the kiss of death for a retro open-world RPG. It bothered me so much I contacted the dev and he told me that it would grow richer with updates. If they ever do plug a story into that game, I imagine it would be pretty good. #5
The controls take a lot of getting used to and if the first thing you're playing requires twitch prowess it can be pretty frustrating. Luckily that's not my thing and there are a lot of bite-sized RPGs and strategy games which are great and do the trick if you are extremely busy and miss your games.

We clearly missed that angle, and will be sure to exploit it when we reprise the article in the summer. Thank you though for pointing it out. I sent your comments to the HD writer in question, likely he'll get back to you shortly.
The original was reported for a first-person reference in the description. I deleted the original, which I did not have time to fix and resubmitted. #1
In the description. Well, you were right on that one, at least. I fixed it. Perhaps someone can chime in and explain why the 'mobile' tag should be removed from a review of a mobile game. #3
The other report is off as well. I used a | character to seperate the title of my review from the name of my site. Please remove these reports so that I can post my review #2
The money is using the how-to-boil--a-frog-alive concept. You put a live frog in a pan filled with cold water and turn the heat up very slowly. If you raise the heat at the perfect inclination the frog will allow himself to be boiled alive.
In the year that I was born water and TV were free and most adults had major medical to pay for their families yearly health expenses; said expenses were about 1/1000th of what they are today.
And this is EA, not some fly by night mobile dev. What's more, it's merely a matter of time before they broach the hardcore gamer market.
This kind of sh*&%$ is coming to a console near you. One of the big wigs at EA (I'm not going to dig up the name right now)said that Freemium is the future of gaming. It is not pretty. #6
I deleted the original version of this. There was a mistake, but because I was away from my computer for a day I never had a chance to fix it. If by resubmitting I have broken some sort of rule, let me know and I will take it down. #1
We're asking people to come write user reviews. We're offering something in return. We're a small, struggling, independant magaine. That's spam? Well, if it is take it down? #1
