Seriously? I can't get enough of it. I think it's partially because there's yet another Japanese version of 'Fly Me to the Moon' and that takes me back to the days of watching crappy VHS copies of Evangelion with my friends in high school.
Hey, I'll admit to acquiring some of my collected MP3s through less than legal means. It's a lot easier, really, but it's nice to own things, especially when they're nice looking like the Bayonetta set :)
Never been a huge Ghost Recon fan. Anyone think this'll even challenge CoD for sales?
Don't get me wrong, I love breakout games as much as the next guy, but at this point, I'd rather just have it on a handheld system.
Team Fortress + Toy Soldiers? There's potential there!
"So your saying every one is like you that have big checks to spend on high end things?" It's not like the 360 costs that much more than the Wii :)
There's no HD streaming on PC yet :p
"why don't we have anything like LittleBigPlanet for the Wii?" Right? I was tempted to pick up a PS3 for that game, but I definitely would have spent the $250 on a Wii for it. I'm really disappointed by the third party games. Eventually I'll have to pick one up for New Super Mario Bros Wii, and if the next Zelda game is good, that'll probably do it for me. What can I say? Old formulas work on me.
Because the Wii streaming service is new and relevant. The PS3 streaming is old news. Also? Because the PS3's only real downside is the disc, whereas the Wii fails on a number of levels.
@BryanBegins - I was a total DS hater when it launched. I was working at an EBX(I know...) and was actively encouraging customers to buy GBAs instead. To be fair, the GBA is a solid system and New Super Mario Bros hadn't been released yet :p
@Idle h4nds - If they keep it under $200 I think they'll do great. Otherwise they're going to have a hard time convincing people a handheld should cost more than the Wii.
I've never really seen it done well, but I'm hoping Nintendo's the one to do it.
The PSPgo was a pretty big disappointment, but I still love my PSP. Sony had better have something good :p
You're not kidding! "The Top 1 Way Nintendo Could Botch the DSi XL launch"
My friend's father is Taiwanese and he honestly says Wad every time. After five years, you'd think he'd get it right. I'm starting to think he does it on purpose.
@skv007 - While it didn't effect the actual quality of playing the game, it's a landmark decision that allows more people to access it. It doesn't affect gameplay, but it does affect how it's perceived. It's a less obvious value bonus, but it's pretty huge in the scheme of things. For example, I actually got to play it without having to a buy a new system. It makes FFXIII a $60 game instead of a $310 game. I dig that :p
Really? I've never been impressed with the story. That 'going inside of Cloud's head' segment? Oof. I loved Materia though :D
Oh, I see what you mean. Initially I thought you were saying that they had a large story tying them together, rather than a common thread. I guess I could see the Espers as being related to the elemental crystals. As far as FFV goes, it's been far too long since I've played it. Loved that one though, the job classes were boss :)
Tactics is sweet, but really.. the best? I love the gameplay, but the incredibly dull and unskippable story segments make that game hard to play. I wish they'd put calculators in other FF games though. Coolest class idea ever. Killing with math.
