IMO sales should never be equated into deciding factors involving game awards. Sales and quality are not mutually exclusive.
For me The Last of Us was the best this generation. It was the first game to show true emotion IMO, and made me truly care for the characters. I loved the chemistry between Tess and Joel, and was sad (SPOILER WARNING) to see her die.
Did anyone else notice at 1:41 that it looks like there will be possibly a fourth playable character available to play in "83 days." I wonder if that will be DLC or something else.

I'm glad you brought up the diabetes issue, particularly the fact that not all diabetes is caused by unhealthy diet. And in fact a perfect example is Ray Allen's son, who at 5 years old has diabetes type 1, but has the appearance of a healthy kid.

Sony is indeed the larger corporation, but larger does not always mean more money. Yes Sony has more products, but that also means a larger overhead/operating cost. Nintendo has more money to play with than Sony, it's a fact. I've heard some analyst's say Nintendo could report losses every year, for the next 40 yrs, and still be in the console industry.

I agree as well. The new store is horrible IMO. I use to go to the old store frequently, but now I only go when I know what I'm looking for. Browsing the new store sucks now, loading was basically non existent on the old store.

Sony now uses online passes. I'm not sure which game it was first implemented in, but I rented GoW:A from Gamefly and I wasn't able to play online without an online pass.
Here's a thought... Is it possible that MS may have put this info out in public, about having always on connection, on purpose to see how the public/user base would react to said info?

I understand your complaint against R:FOM controller setup. I felt the same way when I went back and replayed it awhile back. Though it was obviously a non issue when I originally played it back in 06 because I wasnt accustomed to what we now consider standard fps controls.

I figured Dead Nation 2 was a lock as a sequel when you consider the caliber of the first game. Dead Nation had IMO some of the best zombies ever in a game. It felt like you were battling hundreds of zombies at once and just the way they ran and would swarm you was awesome. I sure hope Dead Nation 2 gets greenlight.

I'm gonna have to agree with badz149 on this gninja92. He's correct in identifying the difference between the launch 60gb version and the 80gb MGS version. I bought a launch 60gb and it only lasted about two and a half years before it succumbed to the YLoD. I too ended up having to reflow my 60gb ps3 by following gilksy's tutorial on YouTube. I believe he was the first to show how to do it yourself. Unfortunately it wasn't a permanent fix, I would have to take it apart and ref...
