The only reason this year may be different is the GOTY award is not going to go to Halo 4 or COD Blops 2. They aren't on the list. So it should be interesting to see who wins. Other then that, no they aren't relevant except for trailers/teasers and possible announcements.
The most disappointing is why they show us this character that we play as but yet it's first-person so we never actually see our character in full.
What's interesting is that the Spike VGAs is Dec 7 yet this teaser for a "story trailer" claims to not be until Dec 10. I feel that this might be for a separate trailer.
The guy was being shot and it was what's called an "impact" kill. He was already hurt and when it him him it did him in. Being hit by a bouncing betty that's thrown is not a one-hit kill.
This is my first podcast and I don't have the itunes all setup yet for subscribing but I wanted to get this first one out there and see if anyone cares to listen to 3 gamers who like to talk about games. Please feel free to give any feedback here or on the site and let me know what you think. Also, their are a few audio issues at times that can't be fixed as it was recorded live on Skype and the connection got fuzzy at times so sorry about that :(
Considering my game keeps crashing at Mission 2 I might not care if I get spoiled...
I clicked the link and then I realized, I can wait as the time it takes to do this the game will already be released...
Hmm, Colonel Radec...I thought I was a nice guy, who knew :)
The same site gave MW3 a 95....nuff said.
Not a bad read had it not been 12 separate pages. Also, 95% of racing games don't claim to be "real" so it's understandable that they don't look or feel like it.
Unless the software update gets around HDCP, you still can't capture from consoles in 1080p 60fps. Well the PS3 at least. I don't think Xbox has it enabled.

You have to be 18 to vote...I bet the majority of players are 18 and under...

Spike strips are not a guaranteed bust, and nor is crashing while being chased by the cops. If you look closely @4:35 you will see the "bust meter" on the bottom. If it gets maxed out and stays that one for about 2 seconds you get busted. That happens when cops are surrounding you but I drove off fast enough to get out of it. Once I did get Wanted level 6 (max) and tried everything to escape but couldn't. There are no helicopters, or FBI/SWAT vehicles. ...
Yes you can get busted fairly easily. The most wanted race I did you start off with a wanted level of 3 and even though you finish the race your wanted level stays and you have to evade the cops.
Look at the actual review and read through it. I describe how the game graphically is impressive from the cars and environment to the damage physics on the licensed cars. Plus I say how it plays/feels a lot like a burnout game considering its Criterion. That's not a bad thing though.
PS3 and 360 (new ones especially) have this built in. I have read there are some ways around it but still, it's technically not meant to be able to happen. Streaming 1080p via PS3 or 360 that is.

I can't imagine this game looking that good on consoles. Every video/screenshot we have seen thus far has been from the PC build. So clearly it's going to be ported to consoles.
Wreck-It-Ralph movie looks awesome. Nice to see the character is already being prominent in video games.
I remember the days of Mario when single player is all there was and without warping that game took forever and a half to beat in full (at least for me). It seems like nowadays it's hard to get a campaign that's longer then 8 hours. Compared to older games, that length of single player is just sad.
Yes it is and gameradar I'd rather not scroll through 33 pages with a single paragraph on each. It's not user friendly.
