LOL. In my interview with Rhee, he said that MS's indie policy had seemed to change from back in the Braid days. Albeit, news shows that MS may be going back to a more open policy. Perhaps there will be a consideration in the future ... #2.1

Honestly, for some reason this game makes me want to get a Vita.*Confession Bear*

I am also thinking about it for the dual screen functionality with the PS4. But that has yet to come to fruition so maybe ... #3.2

I'd like to see some examples of poor F2P games, because I've see some great ones out there. Perhaps I tend to block the crap ones out. I mean, Firefall is looking good, Gundam Capsule Fighter is another fun game. The monetization features aren't too intrusive and everything seems balanced. #1

Yes, they have changed the mechanics in the game. I've just seen it before in RDR, etc. I sat out GTA IV partly because of the poor gameplay. But, I think I will be coming back on GTA V. #3.4

Totally agreed. I'm of the camp that gameplay matters more than graphics. And, right now, graphics is what PS4 and XBO are selling me. I'll be good with the current gen, and my next gen Nintendo (dual screen integration is next gen to me).

I would REALLY love to see GTAV on WiiU. I can imagine that the pad screen be a place you can look down and see what the other characters are doing w/o switching over. #2.3.1

Would I call it secrets? Maybe not. However, the analysis is very astute in this piece. Nice. #1

Shame, XBO would have been able to reach the level Steam is on in terms of pricing flexibility, but they backed down. Too bad, MSFT. All good, PC gamers. #4.1

Indeed. MSFT has the right vision that everything should go digital. From a business perspective, it eliminate the cost of disc production, shipping, etc. It also allows them to be more flexible in terms of pricing and sales.

However, their messaging and PR SUCKED. All Playstation had to do in their E3 event was say "we won't do what Xbox is doing," and they won.

You cannot stop the future. It will eventually get to all-digital. It is just a ma... #1.1

@hellzupernova there is indeed a camera on the WiiU controller. Facetime is fully integrated, no Skype API.

@Lannister 1. LOLz. 2. When you say "next-gen" do you mean graphics, or gameplay? If it's graphics, I have stated above that the WiiU does miss out. However, when it comes to gameplay, Nintendo can do more with the second screen to make up for it. ZombiiU is a good example. 3. LOLz. #4.1.3

WiiU? #4.1

The new Kinect will be powerful and has potential to be key in terms of the variety of games you can play, integrated voice, etc. And, as an entertainment (not games) console, XBO does win out. However, all these don't justify a higher price point, IMO. And there is little to differentiate. Again, PS4 wins because they're doing things right on all fronts - partners, games, and services. #3.3

@Oh_Yeah, thanks. I neglected the Vita. Has not the Vita been spotty in terms of dual screen functionality, however? Not too many games have leveraged the hardware in this regard, or so I've heard.

Thing is, I wouldn't buy a Vita just for the dual screen. As a hand held, 3DS wins out as well with better titles and wider user base. And the phone's (i.e. iPhone, Android, etc.) ability to do more than just games and movies out position the Vita on that front.
