I agree with you, I guess what I ment is that with smaller games you kinda have to find/make the story, through its gameplay elements and such. Most game developers making smaller games like such cant really afford to have a full story with paid voice actors and such. So, games like The Walking Dead won't be so common. #1.1.1
Most Downloadable games are relatively short in length, so I don't see why you would have to request something that has been available for years and years. Look through any store (PSN, STEAM, XBL, etc.) and you'll find lots of games that are quite short, but still very enjoyable and that have a great story. #1
They may not be making the Darksiders series anymore, but I wonder if they will still make the Crawler project they had in the works before everything fell apart at THQ. I'm interested to see what that game was. #8.1
Well, right now both Best Buy and Amazon are selling it for 25 bucks, so that isn't too bad, sucks for those who bought it day one though. #2.1
Exactly, and the PS3 version was advertised to come with the Vita version at a later date, so Sony wouldn't just cancel the project (wouldn't be a smart idea, as it would be false advertisement, because a lot of people bought the PS3 version expecting a Vita version as well). It's just a matter of when Sony officially states what is going on with the Vita version that we will know what's up. #1.1
Perhaps you never played Heavenly Sword or Enslaved, or perhaps you did and didn't enjoy them, but both games were quite awesome in my opinion. So, I disagree with that and I just think releasing it in January wasn't their best option, because games released in that month generally don't sell quite as well when released as they do in other months. I expect it to continue to sell pretty well over the next few months though. I enjoyed the demo quite a lot though, so I will definitel... #1.2.1
For someone who is just buying it for the expansion, I agree... But someone just buying into the franchise, its a great deal indeed. I'll be picking it up after its release either way, when its like $25 dollars or so, just to save more money #1.5.1
Is this site stupid? They said 20,000,000 copies were sold, not 20,000,000 millions dollars were made from Minecraft. MineCraft wasn't sold for 1 dollar. #1
You forgot about Warface, a free to play game released in Russia last year and from what I am aware, it is doing quite well. The game will be coming to other territories this year and will probably also do quite well. They Have Crysis 3, Homefront 2, that Kinect game and more coming out. I am sure they'll do quite fine and atleast Crysis is more interesting than most run of the mill shooters. #1.1
Okay, you may enjoy the game, but you can't honestly agree with their business practices. It's complete BS. #8.3
Total Biscuits name for the game is much better 'Bore Z'. #7.1
I definitely agree with this. I recently started playing Doom 3 BFG edition (just beat the campaign for it, not I gotta beat RoE and the lost missions) and I see how much more I enjoy the game compared to shooters nowadays. I also enjoyed Rage alot, despite what others feel. The enemies are all up in your face and I just love how it feels compared to other games. I want more games like the old shooter, these new shooters bored me. #3.1
That honestly never happens though. I don't think there has ever been a game released the year before nominated for anything. #1.1.2
Dark Souls 2 was that game i'm guessing. That's kinda the reputation it's gotten because of its difficulty compared to most games released this gen. #2.2
Assassin's Creed 3 was released over a month before Far Cry 3 came out. Games that release late November or in December always get the shaft. The same thing Happened to Gran Turismo 5 in 2010. #1.2
You're thinking about Demons Souls, not Dark Souls. Dark Souls is multiplatform.

@Neckbear: You beat me too it haha #1.2.2
I just really doubt a title like Prey 2 will be changed into a next gen launch title. The game needs as many potential buyers as possible to sell well. It looks like a great title for sure, but having a title so far in development switch to next gen would cost them a lot more than it already has and just wouldn't get the sales it would get on this generation if consoles. Would be a costly and pointless move imo. #5.1
I'm sure one way or another it's going to get released. If THQ go the of the dodo before then, i'm sure a different publisher will release the game. #3.1
Don't forget about Metro: Last Light, that game also looks like it's going to be a great game. #2.1
You have to also remember that it is far more expensive to develop games this generation than it was to last generation, which is a huge factor in why they hardly broke even. #2.2.2
