The point is that no one is "hunting" the Xbox One down. Microsoft screwed itself over. That's not a "witch hunt." Please, open a history book.
Calling this a "witch hunt" is ridiculous, not to mention disrespectful to those who lost their lives in actual witch hunts.
We live in a consumer society that is not always economically stable. Anytime you can buy something for a decent price is a good thing. I just don't see how one can predict a company "losing out" by appealing to the consumer society I just described.
Nope, I wanted to address those terms, and this stuff was just for fun more than anything. Also, our website does not currently have ads.
I read the review. It seems to suggest that it's more acceptable to objectify women if the women in question are strong, but if they're damsels in distress, objectification is wrong. What a strange argument.
I still play the original Street Fighter IV. Honestly, pretty much every character in that game can be a threat. I would call it one of the most balanced fighting games I've ever played. It's all dependent on the player's skill and experience, really.
It looks bad now, but I'm going to wait until the Mario stuff comes out before making a final judgment.
A "shooter" is not defined by how much the enemies shoot; the genre refers to the player shooting. In Metroid Prime, you're shooting almost constantly. It's not inaccurate to call the game a first-person shooter with adventure elements.
Prime has a ton of shooting.
Glad you included Doom. Metroid Prime would have made my list.
People didn't care whether Sony was selling the PS3 at a loss, though. They cared about Sony's arrogant marketing approach and the audacity of selling a gaming console at such a high price.
I would just like to have the original arcade version of Darkstalkers on the 360. No revamp needed, as it is a beautiful game.
Street Fighter is my favorite fighting game series by far, but man, talk about having a lot of iterations for one game!
I've beaten all of the main Contra games. Contra 4 was the hardest for me (especially if you include the Challenge Mode).
Yeah, Sony's turnaround from the initial PS3 PR disaster has been earned on their part.
Sony still has more gamer trust at this point.
What a beautiful game. Glad to hear this port is solid.
Quick thing about Noah's Ark: it's not a "rip-off" of Wolfenstein 3D - it is Wolfenstein 3D. Apparently, the game's developers might have made it as a middle finger to Nintendo. Watch the Angry Video Game Nerd's take on it for the specifics: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
VII has a lot of stuff to find, but it doesn't take that long to beat compared to, say, VI.
I definitely agree the Wii U needs a price drop. Here's a piece I wrote about that a while back: http://www.fateofthegame.co... But the reality is that it definitely needs games that a lot of people want. To me, the success of the 3DS was due to both the price drop AND the cool games that keep coming out for it.
