It can indeed trick the eye into seeing depth and things coming out of the TV it is has been proven.
Natal can be retro fitted to most games for control purposes only.
But what I was talking about is using it in new games as a head tracker to create true 3D visuals with things popping out of your TV at you.
Natal can bring true 3D visuals into a game using head tracking, it works too
Sorry pal, but you are wrong, Natal can work with games that use controllers to create true 3D in that game, so it could be used in almost any single player game.
@Qui-Gon Jim
Head tracking by Natal can work and it can even be used to create true 3D games without the need for glasses. That is where it will have a major benefit for games that use controllers, by working in conjunction with them.
It is possible that Natal will run in the background of games like Gears to give true 3D gaming without the need for glasses and you would still use your controller to play the game.
Yeah, but I really want to play 3D games.
I like the idea too, I hope it doesn't take to long to come out

They are getting a lot better.
it'll be interesting to see what indie developers do with avatars, I would imagine they will not be alloud to use them in adult or violent games.
