Neither.
I could care less about graphics of livery or whatever. There do seem to be some custom paint jobs available from what I've seen in the screens but it may only be on certain cars. Would custom graphics ruin the game? I doubt it. Only if those graphics somehow caused problems for the online play could I agree with that statement. Are they required? Most definitely not. The GT5 fans are in it for the racing, the realism and the journey of going from a basic car, building it and upgra... #7.1
Agreed.
There are a ton of cars that have been shown in videos that are not on this list. Naturally that doesn't mean they make it into the final build but I think it's a safe bet cars like the new Dodge Challenger, the '70 Dodge Challenger, the new Chevy Camaro and the old version as well as tons of cars that have been in the GT series previously will make it into the final game. Hell, that list was posted in '08, lol. #1.1.3
Yet another player who has probably never fired a weapon and certainly nothing fully automatic. At least go check out some YouTube videos and see what REAL recoil is like with similar weapons before commenting on what games have realistic recoil. #4.4
It's amazing how many people have never shot a weapon and think every weapon has "Rambo M60" recoil. For the fools that think that an M4 and similar 5.56mm rifles jump all over the place I submit the following to teach you a little something:
Agreed.
I always laugh at people who bitch and complain about campers. Camping is simply a tactic and if you are getting killed by it, it's an effective tactic that obviously beats yours. You can call it cheap if you want, but I call it smart thinking, especially if you are outnumbered, which demands a defensive stance. The idea that campers are somehow dishonored by the fact that they interrupt a run and gun player's mad dash around blind corners without checking them first is beyond hypo... #2.1
In terms of quality, yes, the CoD series has peaked. I'd say the peak was CoD4 as it was wildly popular and was a quality game. MW2 is a damn joke. In terms of popularity, no it may not have peaked quite yet, but all MW2's popularity proves to me is that people are stupid in large numbers. I think in 5 years when we look back, CoD4 will still stand out as a good game to everyone while MW2 has severely polarized shooter gamers. #1.2.1
I disagree.
Having driven some very powerful rear wheel drive cars and also spun out in grass, grass can be very slick depending on the tires. A slick racing tire has very little chance of getting much traction on grass and even a street tread tire can't get a lot. Plus once you are spinning and have some momentum, the fact that grass has moisture in it even when it's not wet with rain or dew makes it easy to slide. Is what is shown in the vid a 100% realistic? I can't say since I have ne... #4.2.1
I'm just really sick of hearing about it. Either release it or just STFU about it. This never ending "it's coming", "it's cancelled", "it's coming again", "it's cancelled again" bit is getting old. As much as I love the Gran Turismo series I was really sick of hearing about it until the release date for GT5 was actually confirmed. This game I could care less about and I'm really, really tired of it. If it's good and the... #1.1.2

Ah, I see what you are saying. That way the threshold closer to the center and the direction follows the reticle closer. I saw a few comments previously talking about changing the size of the "target box" but I didn't quite understand their meaning. If they are adjustable for all games that would be ideal and the different sizes would effectively adjust the "sensitivity" of how the movement follows the direction. Bubbles for the explanation, thanks! #1.1.5
The main issue with Move is the fact that to control your direction when moving, you sort of have to bump the threshold near the sides of the screen. This sort of makes for an odd way of walking and turning and I'm sure many people will spend a lot of time doing strafing style sideways movements rather than bump the screen to turn. I almost wonder if it might not have been a better idea to put a analog stick on the Move controller just for movement and use the "pointing" of th... #1.1.2
Honestly, I'm just sick of hearing about this "game". Either put it out or just STFU about it. I personally don't think this would be a big seller and obviously the developers and publishers are very unsure about it. There are certain franchises that stand the test of time but I feel like this gen that a lot of developers are falling back on old titles due to a lack of imagination in developing new IPs. This one might be worth it as a download game or something but I can... #2.1
I find it simply hilarious that there are probably kids adding these images to their spank bank when all over them are at least 80 and most have probably died of old age by now, lol. #5.2
I think the main issue is that he made a few sweeping statements that are opinion only, but he stated them as if they were a fact. Like it or not, not everyone likes Halo, or similar games and people will obviously have differing opinions on what "sets the bar". I respect Bungie and the Halo franchise for what they have accomplished but I honestly wish it was not so popular since I think it does have an effect on other developers and publishers wanting a piece of the action and I... #1.4.1

I would like an NHRA style drag strip also. ;D #1.1.7
On the point of recoil, see my post above. #5.2
