Sony has always released systems that developers finally start to really understand near the end of the lifespan. PS2 games were pretty incredible in the last few years and I think we'll see the same for PS3.

Logging into that site on a phone is unwieldy and not at all intuitive.
A smartphone can be incredibly useful outside of just being a nice toy.
I run a few businesses and do a lot of freelance writing and I can pretty much always bring what I need with me when I have my phone and can solve most problems without my computer.

I use that as an example in a long line of similar events that seem to happen where Nintendo is either endlessly thrashed or endlessly defended.
To me it is just interesting that Nintendo is a lightning rod for this kind of polarizing stuff.
Sure, there are Sony and Microsoft "fanboys" out there, and there are people who hate each respective brand for whatever reason. I'm just curious as to why Nintendo is that lightning rod. I don't always agree with Nintendo stuff, but they obviously have some stuff that is awesome.
Sure, but lots of games that aren't pushing the boundaries or really trying to are made that are just good, solid games.
I'm not against innovation at all, because they do go hand-in-hand, but we are seeing an excess of innovation, but the ratio to quality games is kind of low.
