Ive met a bunch of awesome friends on Xbox Live. Its to the point where all the single player games i like go into neglect. Although theyre great, i just have a better time online.
Lifendz - Im no cheater, but i do believe that the person with host is able to limit the connections of the other players in order to make their games freeze (actually lag massively which makes it look like it freezes). It allows them to kill as many people/do whatever they want until they turn it off. It is not a Gears 2 specific thing, but it is something that SHOULD be detected (and is in COD: WAW).
If you played the old resident evils then the controls shouldnt be too surprising. Get used to it, its how theyre made. You have to stop to shoot, shut up and move on.
The SPU is not general purpose. It is meant for floating point operations (hence it being a math beast...) and the PPE is general purpose (the processor that controls all the SPE's).
Wow i accidentally agreed with you. Do you understand what Hyper Threading is? Look it up. Your CPU uses it everyday and it greatly improves performance.
tuneraider - You clearly dont know about hardware, so I wouldnt make statements like that.
Charmers - I believe the HyperVisor is only active if a Linux OS is operating (Why would they block the RSX for PS3 games?). I think its dedicated to the PS3 OS.

Testing the multiplayer prior to release would be nice in the next one. Otherwise just throw the multiplayer out entirely. Its no fun if people cheat.
No offense, but if its so great why are you guys here commenting and not playing it?
The original was good. Very good graphics for an original XBox title.
Agreed, anything that doesnt run well on this generation of consoles should be put down to crappy programming.
Even if true, who cares? PS3 fans made a big deal of it about Halo 3, dont make a big deal about it for Killzone 2. Fun is what matters you idiots.
Declining to comment usually means its not exclusive. Just throwing that out there.

For those that didnt read the article the answer is Intel's new patented Shrink Ray.
Ya, and those kids getting the IP's are real smart too...the guy was only off on my place of residence by about a thousand miles.

7 SPE's, one redundant SPE and a PPE.

After 30 minutes graphics dont matter to me. It could be cell shaded for all I care. Crackdown looked nice because of its partial cell shading.
Well it's worth it to pay. The next best thing is Steam.
Well they do make money off of them. I know this because it is implemented now, and this article is a year old.
