Many people are defending what MS is doing.
I try to explain that rights are like muscles. If you don't exercise them. they tend to shrink and wither away.
If you tolerate this, what is next? I don't really own my house anymore bc the builders can't make money when I want to sell it a decade down the line? It is all just insane. We cannot tolerate this or else it will not end here. The boundaries will get pushed further and further by corporation...
I have been an Xbox fan for many years... I prefer the games developed for Xbox. (Mass Effect trilogy rocked... Dragon Age. too. Halo wasn't all that bad, either). Maybe they tend toward more SciFi/fantasy games?
I also have a PS3. I got one of the first, completely backwards compatible. Yes, I still play PS One games :))))

Yes, Dark Souls is kickass!! Does anyone else wonder sometimes if people love Dark Souls bc beating it puts them into some kind of exclusive club (with its reputation for being so hard)?
In any case, it is pure genius to market a game with a rep for such difficulty. It remains a challenge for all "real" gamers to beat! Wish I had thought of it first.

I LOVE my XBox 360. While I placed a pre-order for the XBox One, I also have a pre-order for the PS4. I cannot afford both. If Microsoft does not change its policies esp. regarding used games (& the other policies like being forced to be "always connected", I'll be canceling the XBox One pre-order to complete the purchase of the PS4.
