Loved this game. I was waiting for it to be released here ever since I saw the Japanese footage of it. I have a Vita now, so I hope that one comes here too.
Too bad there wasn't a Platinum though, it wasn't too challenging to me, but I think it would've been very hard for others

I believe that is all correct. Though I've been waiting for this game I jumped on it. Best $9.99 purchase ever. I loved it so much I already 100% completed it. You won't regret your Vita version purchase :)
(Is the Vita version having a physical retail release? If so I wonder who would publish it in the US...)

I admit I've only bought ICO & Shadow of the Colossus HD, but if BC were available I don't think this kind of thing would have ever happened.
I guess I enjoy my remakes once in while, but I'd rather have a brand new game in the series (despite what RE has become) than a remake.

Isn't this game being made on the Vita, 3DS AND PSP? I think Level 5 was trying to make similar across all platforms or were making the game on each platform at the same time.

I completely forgot about this. Though I preordered anyway. Within the few minutes I researched, it seems like without censoring we wouldn't have been able to get this game at all :(

It depends on the company and what you want. I usually get NISA, Atlus, XSEED and other companies that publish japanese games. They usually have a soundtrack, artbook and other stuff, but what I like most are the outer boxes.
I kind of dislike Capcom USA's collector's edtions so I don't normally go for them unless there has been a significant price drop.

I think the articles reasons against the HD collections are a bit too one sided and personal. I just can't help but think companies won't include BC anymore for future consoles because this kind of stuff sells.
Ocarina of Time 3D was a remake, built from scratch. I'm kind of fine with Virtual Console/digital releases, they don't seem to cost that much and don't seem like a rip-off.

That wasn't the game's biggest problem...
I've played this game extensively and it has so many glitches, slow downs and cheapest A.I. I've ever seen for a game (on Master Ninja or Ultimate Ninja)
It just seems like buyers of the first version were beta testers lol
