Sony should acquire Housemarque and Q-Games. It would be a very sound investment seeing as neither of them have produced any duds in their 7 years of existence.
If I recall the Integral MGS4 Podcast, the one in-game, said Kojima just thought it would be funny if Snake could use an actual iPod. So they brought up deals begging to use it in the game. It's more of a joke than product placement.
This video is going to be quoted for the rest of the week. Do yourself a favor and just watch it now.

Wow, N4G took to this much more than I thought it would. Nobody appreciates being talked down to, especially your consumers.
I've never noticed much significance. I rarely turn on my 360 to shop though. Is there a site that list every store update in itemized form?
The problem with MS's whole spiel is that the digital marketplace where prices change, minus the digital trading, is already happening. On PS+. Games start getting their prices slashed after 2 months. The NFS by Criterion is already $30. And they offer deals where you can get AAA games for %50-%80 off. I don't have a problem with their ideas, but instead of just talking about them, actually do it.
Oh my god. I could literally just plug my computer into my receiver and leave it there. Then my DS4 would control my entire room.
*phew* Now I can throw some money at this.
Yes, I can read the article. That's why I wasn't more dramatic. It still doesn't change my opinion on the matter.
Doing something, "Because it sells well" is not attractive to me. And this is Kojima, he's relatively transparent and blunt about what he does. I don't know what the design ideas Shikawa-san had before or even if it matters and I know the designs will be good either way but, I think Merchandising is a bad modifier to apply to the way ...
I know merchandising is a huge cash cow but come on Japan! You've been doing this for years for anime, to the point where great shows have pointless scenes just to sell well made pieces of PVC. I'm just kind of sad to see it's influence actively seeping into work like Kojimas.
I swear, if I hear "Value Proposition" one more time... *sigh*.
I don't know, let's try to spin up a different title.
PS4 supports a maximum of 4 controllers
PS4 doesn't support more than 4 controllers.
PS4 allows 4 controllers at the same time.
You've got to try really hard to come up with a good spin, and the title gets the point across the most effectively regardless.
Technically, I believe the PS3 supports "7 simultaneous Bluetooth devices". So the 4 controller thing is fine, but I want to know the upper bound on Bluetooth devices total.
I'm sure they ran it by Reggie to give Mojang the funds to support porting it over, and his response was probably,
"Meh"
I've seen the trailer before and I didn't think people would have the patience to sit through the intro.
Why would they go with expensive flash memory if they really want you to go digital? And they're so heavy handed about it. If Sony or MS did it there would be riots in the streets. If you don't know, Nintendo is starting to release their games about 2 weeks earlier digitally.
I don't think this is a shot but it's SO much more interesting than without them. Sony is starting to inject personality into the industry again, like they've always done.
You mean how long has it been? It's almost nostalgic.
It's always been a joke. But now we're even closer to putting even football plays behind a paywall.
Oh, you haven't seen Sunny in Revengence yet have you? You might have an aneurysm.
