Not necessarily true... Xbox 360... sold terribly in Japan... But sold great overall... It'd be nice to see them actually be competitive in Japan, but I don't see that happening anytime soon or next generation... Minus... MS purchasing a major Japanese gaming company...

PUBG is still only released in "GAME PREVIEW" build and hasn't been officially released as it is still in beta form and getting better with every update... Once the performance is "Good Enough" maybe it will be officially released...

I think it does to some extent it helps keep game prices down as it is another source of revenue for the developers/publishers... A lot of gamers apparently don't understand it's not cheap to run a big company, upgrading the hardware and software and maintaining top-level coders and designers... Then to have games with upwards of $100+ Million dollar budgets... That's why I don't hate on MTs too much as long as there isn't play-to-win MTs they don't bother me... Espec...

It's an MMO, of course, they have a plan to support it after launch... If they didn't the game would last maybe 1.5 years... In an MMO you need FRESH content... and morons complain about a "Service" to support an MMO... I'm happy they actually have a 10-year plan hopefully the player base stays high.

I'm not huge on attacking MTs... But, selling save slots... GTFO here Konami... Especially for $10 each... Good thing I haven't bought a Konami game in about 15 years and I'll definitely pass on this one. Selling save slots especially for $10 goes way to far.
Don't care if your MS, Sony, Nintendo, Oculus Rift or any other "VR" gaming... It's just not ready yet... Just like Sony with the PS Eye and MS with the Kinect... Small steps will eventually lead to something great... But, the greatness hasn't arrived yet.
