The difference is that now, you can upload your save directly on the cloud using the Plus icon in the LiveArea of your game, instead of having to copy the whole bubble on your PC (which usually takes much more space as it includes updates and saves - and the game itself, if you downloaded it from the PS Store). Nice little feature, although I would also like to have the possibility of copying the save only on my PC...
I already have 60+ hours on shin megami tensei IV! and I'm just about halfway through! I love those high value games! :)
Sam has some good points, but you can probably find it for less than $20, and at that price, it's a decent deal.
I'll never know why that franchise isn't more popular... I'm really looking forward to this new entry.
I share your pain.
It IS a game changer... Now all I have to figure out is whether I dish out the $100 more for the kinect or not... And I still don't like the idea of a mandatory kinect...
"***You forget that, of the 76 M consoles sold, many were bought more than once by the same users, due to the 360 being a defective piece of crap***
Which doesn't matter since the figures being used are based on Xbox accounts, not number of xbox 360s out there"
The article compares the number of consoles sold worldwide (76 M) vs the number of gold accounts (48 M) and determines very unscientifically that 2/3 of the xbox...
You forget that, of the 76 M consoles sold, many were bought more than once by the same users, due to the 360 being a defective piece of crap (I had to buy 3, and 2 of them were replaced during the warranty period!). Not enough data and numbers are made to say things that they don't say - pretty bad article overall.
A killer app is a game that sells consoles (usually an exclusive) - everyone wants to play it so bad that they will buy the console just for that game. There aren't that many games at the moment that fit that description on the Vita. I'm not saying that there aren't any good games on it (that's preposterous!), just not one game that would make everyone rush at the counter to get a Vita. And that's a damn shame. It's the greatest handhel...
I want it too! No fair!
Double post - sorry!
Quite a few RPGs are coming up:
Muramasa Rebirth (action/RPG)
Valhalla Knights 3
Ys: Memories of Celceta
All before the end of September... Maybe not killer apps, but still...
Funny you should ask...
Apparently yes, and it sounds awesome. Even if it's a remake.
I think the xbox controller has an integrated battery like the current dualshock for PS3. Not that I am defending the xbone - they can keep that Big Brother stuff, and they won't see any money from me next gen...
I've bought over 150 xbox games this generation and, if all that I've heard is true, they won't see a penny from me in the next gen. Anyone who buys the xbox one is either a fanboy, a misinformed parent, or just plain loves getting f'd in the a. I don't see how microsoft could make it up for depriving me of my consumer's rights. No matter how good their games are.
The new gen hasn't started yet, and the PS4 has already won it.
you forget the lack of a decent marketing campaign...
You can easily reach 100+ bubbles on a 32 gb card if you fill it with psone classics, minis, PS mobile and PSP games, on top of your regular Vita games...
This update is great, though. I have been wishing for a layout save on each card for months! I hated switching between my 3 cards (4, 16 and 32) just because it messed up the layout everytime.
sorry bro, you've lost my interest at "kinect".
And hopefully, this time, they will pick a better roster - MUA 2's roster was an insult.
