Everything he does is absurdly over hyped. Lets not forget that Black and White was supposed to be a genre breaking RTS with near sentient AI. It turned out to be some sort of pointless pet slapping sim. Then there's Fable, a good game, but not the scientific achievement he claimed.

Crysis is at it's best when rendering urban enviroments instead of jungle joilage. Thats when the game's high res texture can really pop. This texture over load is what set the console and the PC apart...well other than native resolutions that is. Only the PC can handle the huge RAM requirements necessary for the kind of texture work.
Bioshock taught me that shooters without multiplayer=fail. I don't care how great the single player is, after I'm finish the game is nothing more than a $60 coaster and thats unacceptable.
That is not news. Some games like Uncharted and KZ2 are already doing this. Even DX9 games can replicate some of the DX10 effects.
...if they stop ripping us off with their pathetic DLC maps? The PC guys are not only getting better maps for free, but some of the maps in the console DLC are being replicated then IMPROVED upon by PC map makers. Its a freaking joke.
I'm sure the mod tools exists to "cook" maps for the console version. Just implement it like Epic did with UT3.
Hell if games like Halo 3 and Gears 2 can't do native 720p then Direct X10 sure as hell isn't coming to the console.
As for Crysis, it isn't about the lighting as much as the texture size. Crysis textures are HUGE. They're ultra sharp and if you play on "high" then everything is set on high. There isn't any low res textures anywhere like they would be in a console game. This kind of detail is impossible on a console with 512 MB RAM.
I'm not sure what they were thinking with DA. Splinter Cell is always about sneaking around and offing terrorists. They need to get back to their roots.
You don't measure MMOs by units sold like you do with normal games. In that genre its all about the subs. If they have 500K subs three months from now then Conan is a hit.
Uncharted is more Indian Jones than it is Tomb Raider.
I always hated how can your character can pull an assault rifle outta thin air in GTA while carrying a SMG, a shotgun and an RPG in the inventory. In Mafia you can only carry two weapons. A pistol in your pocket and another weapon in your hand. You must also choose stealth vs firepower in Mafia. Walk around with a Tommy gun in your hand and the cops will be all over you in no time.
A teen rated MK is like porn without the full frontal nudity. Pointless. Either way this is the worst vs game I've ever seen. Superman vs Subzero? WTF are they smoking out there!? Logic indicate that a the Man of Steel could beat the crap outta the entire MK cast in his sleep.
I don't like the idea of giving clans all these cool stuff at the expense of the solo player. Thats BS.
