Sumo, Fable 2 and 3 sold over 5 million each, so did Forza 3. Forza 2 sold over 4 million. Granted these are VGChartz numbers, but still.
You could have picked Viva pinata, Alan Wake, Crackdown or something. Also, Dance Central and Kinect Sports both sold over 3 million.
I'm pretty sure those words have been uttered about this game before, only the year is different. Last year it was wait til TGS, this year it was wait til TGS, next year will be. . .yup you guessed it, wait til TGS.

Can't just go out and throw words like critically acclaimed around. Killzone 1 averaged 70% on metacritic, KZ 2 was critically acclaimed at 91% and KZ3 did very well at 84%.
The main series thus averages 82% which very good but hardly critical acclaim.
