The biggest plus with back compatibility is that it freed up a hdmi socket behind my tv and i moved my 360 to the bedroom. If the ps4 had it, i could unplug my ps3 too. I recently dug a couple of og xbox games out from the attic and it was good to play them again, so i'm always glad they keep adding to it.
All og xbox games that ran on 360 to work on xbox one. That'd be nice, then I could play sf3:3rd strike again
Ports and games added to BC on xbox one isn't the same thing the difference there is whatever 360 games that become backwards compatible that I own, I don't have to pay for anything again. Hitman blood money just got added to the list, great I just pop in the disc, quick download and done.
That was the main reason I got my xbox one. that, gears 4 and killer instinct.
If you look at it without taking in consideration of what else is available in the console space then yeah, maybe compared to PCs of a similar spec or how much a dedicated UHD Blu-ray players cost but when compared to the ps4/pro and xbox one S then nope.
The X1s plays the same games as X1x but is half the price of it, usually with a few games thrown in and still has a UHD Blu-ray drive, upscales games to 4k and has HDR.
There's also cross buy on ps4 and ps vita so some games, mainly indie, don't even need to be streamed you can play it natively on the vita. Coupled with cloud saves you can keep playing where you left off on either platform.
I'd be all over that, throw in a cart slot for mega drive game too and while we are at it downloadable sega arcade games.
KillBill, PS now worked on some smart tvs without the need of a console. So instead of the game being streamed to your ps4 and then displayed on the tv, the game is streamed directly to the tv. Like watching netflix via a ps4 on your tv verus using a netflix app on the tv itself.
That was my first thought too...they need to do an old man version that has legs on it.
If the switch gets gamecube virtual console and if that has Capcom VS SNK 2 then maybe......but no it prob won't as it I can't see it getting any new street fighter, guilty gear, mk or tekken games.
Prob no where near the biggest on my ps4 hdd with Doom sitting there taking up 79gb
I remember them saying that about the DS not replacing the Gameboy and we all know how that went.

I'm currently replaying the directors cut on my vita during my lunch breaks at work, still love playing it. After playing the DS version and the REmakke so much i sometimes do forget that you cant do the quick 180 turn or manual reload. I do wish they released the REmake on the vita.
That was the box art in Europe, the wii version is the same too but black and white. Also looks very cool. Gamesradar often do articles showing different boxart for USA, EU and Japan, going by those the USA always seems to get the worst. The cover for Ico springs to mind.
I just wish they would show something off, the suspense is becoming unbearable. Even just annoucing a reveal date would be good, something to look forward to.
Same, I just wanna hear it say Sega :) Mine is sat in a box under the bed, still going strong though sometimes you need to give the power cord a wiggle to make it work.

Agreed, maybe they could have done something in the flash backs just to get a handle on reading cues. As it took me a few attempts just to figure out that is was best just to dodge and parry attacks than attack Rafe.
Sega should get sumo to make an open arcade racer mix the feel of daytona, outrun and sega rally in something forza horizon-ish. I'd buy that and a new streets of rage and while we're at it house of the dead overkill 2.
