Donkeys and horses move us from place to place. So why waist time on engines when we could just bread better donkeys? If motion fails we will learn from it. If it succeeds, we could see new experiences. If we never tried, that would be our biggest loss.

This is like watching a video tape. Natal would get you right in the action. You could actually compete and see your actions on screen. These look boring.
I can't f'ing wait. They should not release Natal and Halo at the same time. That is crazy! They are going to run out of stock for the Holiday, mark my words. Retailer can not just stock 360 stuff. Gamestop for sure is to small to supply a large mob of people. Halo by itself causes kaios. Halo for the hardcore and Natal for the casuals. If the are going to do the price drop like the analyst predict, they should at lease do that early in the year.
All I would say here is get your pre-orders in and hope M$ makes enough for everyone.
Wii systems sell but only Nintendo games sell on the wii. 360 is the leading platform for game sales. Year over year it has the highest attached rate. Wii sell Mario, wii sports and fitness games.
To expensive. People will not adapt to 3DHD just to play games in 3D. HD-OLED TV's are now coming to market and are expensive. 3D TV's are years away form popularity. No developer (Except 1st party) is going to waste they time with a few exclusives for the 100 people who buy in the first 2 years if Sony tries to push this now. They need to get the TV's out there first. They are trying to use gamers to sell everything they make.
But the harcore will remain king of sales. The Halo's and GOW's aren't going anyware anytime soon. Casual gamers don't spend near as much as hardcore. M$ and Sony know this.
Wii is in the best place because of the lack of coverage. People on the Wii are there to have fun. Not have a console war and buy what people tell them is GOTY. I really respect that.
I only play it with my kids, as the types of games on it don't fee like they are geared towards me and when I game I am always in discussions will friends and family in Xbox Party Chat. 360 really stops me from giving more time to playing Wii with the kids. But the Wii dominates as it got a lot of people who don't see themselves as gamers to buy the Wii. I fully understand why the media does not cover it much though. How else would you know what appeals to them? But yes, if Natal fails Xbox 3 will be here much sooner. But I wouldn't worry about Natal failing if I were you. It is a 360 exclusive. Let's see? Where should I start. Firmware updates every 2 or 3 months sounds like they added quite a lot of shyt to me. They went through at least 3 re-designs. They have added: XMB; unique ID's, larger hard drives; Achievements; home; Netfex; Marketplace; Wand; need I go any farther or is that enough to disprove your rant?
I am glad that they are not replacing 360 any time soon. I don't need bluray or Wifi. I love the game line-up, Xbox-live and look forward to Natal. Thank you.
GOW3 compared with ME2 on 360 alone is a better sale barometer. I could see ME2 winning that even though the PC will take away some sales from the 360.
