he's only doing that because the PS4 is performing well, if the shoe was on the other foot and it was PS4 that was performing badly - do you seriously think he would give two shits for the WII U?
Sony should acquire exclusivity to the big names like GTA, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil etc these games belong on the PLaystation... MS could have the rest like Assasins Creed, Far Cry, Disneys Magical Adventure.
Nintendo should sell Retro Studios to Sony, so we see a Metroid prime game on PS4 and that those poor souls at retro studios can get some money....
It was time to stop making consoles after the Gamecube - that would have been a successful exit from the video gaming industry. the wii just ruined their reputation
is it just me or are people finding it more difficult to devote as much time to games as they did when they were younger? I think the affinity for gaming diminishes over time...

Its not as simple as that... Saying that MS are a Software company is just lazy... MS have enough money to hire the best hardware designers in the world and make something to rival the PS4 design.
What it ultimately boils down to is that MS roots are not in gaming and more entertainment and profit orientated, thus they do not quite understand what gamers want and are a bit clumsy as a gaming company. They think the bigger the hardware the more dominant...
It might just be my eyes deceiving me or the quality of that picture, but the Xbox looks cheap and plasticy in that pic
