He makes Battlefield, too?!

Is the article talking about something other than what Jaffe was talking about? The writer of article uses the word "hype." Jaffe did not. He's talking about showed gameplay ONLY from E3.

People need to stop putting words in these people's mouths.

Also don't really see that as "lashing out" but lol.

Depends on the game. Of course you don't need to preorder stuff like CoD or BF3, but if word of mouth spreads on something like Catherine and people who didn't preorder it start picking it up...

Not that I'm saying you won't find one, but it make take you a few more stops than you may want to when you could have just preordered it for no extra cost and picked it up without muss or fuss.

Point: Preorder lesser known stuff in case they get a goo...

Noticed the Page1 Page2 Page3 method and went, "Hmmmm :(" Decided to bite anyway and clicked "Page 2"...

... and got an ad. :(

Clicked that little X in the top right corner of my window next.

Setting the precedent for competitive shooters to think that its not only OK to have an unequal amount of weapon mods exclusive to people because they bought from a specific retailer, but a financially viable way to get more preorders.

The only thing I care about is being on equal footing, and I'm sorry DICE and EA, but having more options is definitively an advantage in almost all games.

Do you know how this works? https://affiliate-program.a...

It's an ad, not news.

Let me guess: you work on that site? Getting a buck or 2 for every person that clicks through and buys something?

4700d ago 1 agree10 disagreeView comment

Why does N4g allow these? That site is making money for every sale that clicks through. This isn't news.
