Look at all of the MGS games, they all share an average of 91-94% because while they're always very good technically the story is very polarizing amongst people. You either love it or hate it.

These are American outlets and thus held to American grading standard, which puts A- at approx. 91 for arguments sakes.
Actually an A- is an 91, I don't know what insanely lenient grading scale you use.
I'm putting a personal curve on some of these reviews because they don't particularly enjoy the story like a fan of the series would, or even an unbiased party. Also many don't count the inclusion of MGO towards the score.
Taking those things into account an A- is really an A.
Are they dissapointed with the game or do they not like metal gear? I've not heard negative from a single metal gear fan.
From the few hours I've spent with it so far it an excellent achievement from a technical prospective. The graphics, sound, controls, menus, and camera. Everything is of the highest quality. Still too early to draw conclusions on the story, but its classic metal gear. Simply from a technical level I don't know how you could possibly fault the game.

I don't understand. Obviously the game was much more than what a normal blu-ray can hold, thus the need for a blu-ray.
Part of the other capacity prob goes to MGO.
Why would you need another character? They hold multiple weapon setups like Call of Duty 4 so their really isn't a need. You can change clothes and aesthetics also so why is it a problem?
It must be so cheap to make side scrollers like megaman, but good ol' fashioned fun regardless.

I know you people all like to believe its still console exclusive or something, but why would they shoot themselves in the foot in Japan? They saw what happened to Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey.
