That's true, but at least JibJab took a bit more work to pull off well. This was a self-admittedly quickly coded flash game to capitalize on an event.
It's a close tie for me between Carol of the Belmonts and Bubbles We Have Heard on Bobbles in terms of my favorite... But they're all good.
I just dread the inevitable "make a quick flash game on current events then sell it to media companies" trend this is going to start.
If VG Tilt didn't have a history of editing past posts to make their predictions look accurate, I would probably be much more impressed with that one.
Still, it's not like it was a highly improbable one to make given Bionic Commando, so I'll go ahead and give them the benefit of the doubt this time.
Hard not to be when your catalog of classic titles is as awesome as theirs is.
If you told me when the iPhone came out that there would be developers and games I got jealous I didn't have I wouldn't have believed you. Now, though? Damn you, iPhone!
If they both came with Ryu (or if the 360 came with Ken or someone), it would be close even though the PS3 gets the Blu-ray feature. But with a separate Blu-ray version of the movie, AND the far superior figurine, there's no way any SF fans with a 360 and a PS3 would pick the 360 version.
Unfortunately for me, I have to save room by keeping my games in CD binders and get rid of the boxes. Had I known when the Wii came out that Club Nintendo had a chance of coming to the US, I probably would have kept the info for all my games rather than just the ones I've purchased in the last few months.
Well, if it ever actually comes out (and you can force yourself to pay for it even if they reduce the price) you'll have a chance!
The movie is already going to be rated R because of the violence (or so I can dream). No need to push it into X territory.
That's so much cooler than the little 5' tree we were forced to get in our new apartment.
Kudos for at least admitting your previous stance and that you were wrong. Too many people try to claim they were on side A or B all along, regardless of what they previously said.
For those who want some more information, apparently the studio locked the doors because they had entered administration, and the administrators did it to keep everyone but a skeleton crew out; it wasn't the studio or bosses' move.
If you're like me and have no idea what that means [IE most people in the US]: they couldn't pay the bills, so now people are investigating the company's finances. I think. Anyone from the UK have a better description?
The other story was also from the exact same website. A simple update to give the other story scans (like the other story SAYS it has) would have been fine.
Then again, it looks like the other one may have been deleted because it had no scans like the title claimed. The text on that page looks exactly like what the last submission of the story was, though. Just with some scans thrown in at the bottom like it was previously claimed.
I'd think it would take off a little more if the prices weren't so high.
They'll worry about improving it AFTER the mainstream press stops talking about how awesome and totally revolutionary it is.
I actually canceled my Netflix account when they started charging extra for Blu-ray rentals. Never had them in stock, anyway. Now I just get the Blockbuster Online account with the unlimited in-store exchanges, and I can get Blu-ray releases day one no problemo. (And many more movies per month.)
Dead Kody,
It's a fanmade magazine on a fansite. Team ICO has nothing to do with it.
I wish they would just confirm it already, instead of trying to hush up everyone.
I don't know for Microsoft, but I know Nintendo makes a small profit on each Wii sold.
