Catherine had a lot of good press / buzz, so I wouldn't call it under rated at all. Deadly Premonition is also getting a rerelease, which I think also goes against it being underrated. #2.6
I do. The video was made WELL after I did it, but my 6th month title didn't ding at the time, so when I loaded the game to do a video for a friend, it happened to appear. I also have all the titles for playing the other Capcom games / doing other things, hence the full 100% total.
The funny thing is that this is just natural progression...
As early as the Sega Saturn / PS1 (they could play CD's) we've had consoles do other things. Since then we've had plenty of examples of systems that could do other things, yet were still gaming systems. Seems silly to call attention to, like saying a Galaxy Player isn't about MP3's, but being a cell phone with no cellular aspect. #2.1
Anyone else like that "Trusted Reviews" posted this? I mean if they can't figure out that consoles will do more than play games (though thats what they do first and foremost), why exactly would I trust them with a review? #1.3
I wouldn't go that far, since this is probably a case by case thing. Obviously some publishers will let some developers do whatever they want or practically anything, such as Kojima with Konami, but I doubt every developer is given the same consideration. I can get into an endless stream of "what ifs", but the simple fact is that this simply proves most / any blame falls on BioWare, since as I mentioned before, we only know this relates to BioWare and is not a universal policy. #3.1
Well I can't say I disagree, but I wouldn't say I agree either. The thing is, most of the hype came from independent sources, over the actual companies. Sure they might have released "too many" trailers / interviews, but the name sold BioShock more than any of the interviews / trailers did.
The only "real" problem with hype, is that it messes with your mentality going into the game. I played BioShock well over a year after the game first releases a... #4
It's not just necessary, it also has a HUGE impact on consumer opinions.
Take a look at Black Ops Declassified. Now regardless of the games actual quality (which I don't want to debate about), many people were skeptical of the lack of news / details surrounding the title. When the game finally released, Activsion didn't bother to send out review copies, which made the game look really bad.
The same thing happened with The Walking Dead Survival In... #2.1
Well, yes and no. On one hand the game is gives you a finite number of plays per period of time (every character has their own counter, so you can endlessly play with enough cards), which can make unlocking anything tedious. However, the console version also unlocks things for the iOS version of the game, so that helps things get less tedious.

While I can certainly understand people not seeing the problem with this (I am always online myself), I think too many people can't see past their own situation. Personally the biggest issue I have with "always on" is how easy it's to have a problem with it.
I don't know about anyone else, but every now and then someone will pull the internet power cord to plug something in or accidentally removed it (it's pretty bulky after all). Obviously this is... #1.2
Statistically speaking, it's impossible for him to be wrong 100% of the time and there have been several instances where he just says obvious things. I don't recall exact quotes / articles, but I think I saw him say the Wii U needs games not a price cut and things of that nature.
In any case, most people don't hate Pachter (at least in my experience), they just think he's an idiot. Sometimes he just says the dumbest things, which... #1.2.4
I sure hope not... This game is about Jump's 45th, not the popularity of a few series and with this in mind I rather see them make the cast as diverse as possible. The only real exceptions I would accept are something like Raoh or Dio, but beyond that I would be sad to see Madara and confused to see Bills (I mean he never even appeared IN Jump...),
Anyway, diversity is what made Jump Stars great, so I would like to see more of that and less of people asking for 5 - 20 cha... #1.2
While you're probably right, I think claiming they're trying to do "right by their fans" makes this look so much worse. The sad thing is that this expansion would have prompted many people to reconsider the DLC packs, since that would give them time to achieve the max level. #1.1.1
While it's great GB finally released the levels, they really should be free. It sucks that me and my friend are now 61, where as my good friend is only 50. Now he either needs to pay the fee and level or we need to play through the game... in either case, they could have done this better. #1
Some people lack internet. Some people have slow internet. Some people just don't want to be bothered (like people kept doing while I was playing BioShock). Sometimes people lose internet. Sometimes I am not at a place with internet. Sometimes I lose power. etc
Hard to justify something when there are so many examples that render my system useless. #3
