I agree. I had some interest in Modnation Racers before it released, but just had a hard time justifying paying $60 bucks for it. If Modnation had came out at $39.99 at launch, I think it would've done much better.

Because Modnation was one of the "Play, Create, Share" games I think Sony was probably hoping that Modnation could replicate the kind of success that LittleBigPlanet had in a different genre, but unfortunately I guess not.

I liked th... #2.1

I was never a huge fan of Axel (mainly because of his Special Attack) but I guess it's nice to see more returning characters. The Twisted Metal Black versions of Spectre, Sweet Tooth, Outlaw and Roadkill were my top favorites.

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if Jaffe adds other characters from previous TM games as DLC later on, and I really hope so because as a long time Twisted Metal gamer, I'm starting to wonder how much variety this Twisted Metal will have... #12

Well now this makes 2 different retailers that've listed this...seems to be all but confirmed for a TGS announcement :)

I've owned the Originals for Years now, but both of these games are my top 3 favorite PS2 titles along with MGS3, so whenever/if this turns out to be true I'm gonna get this no doubt. I'll be really interested to see what Trophies they can come up with in ICO, because other than just Story Based Trophies, I can't really think of that many... #14

I completely agree with this guy for wanting Einhander on the U.S. PSN Store, and just like him I've only played the demo (and still have it, lol)...I literally played that demo to death countless times.

I wish Sony would bring back franchises like Tomba, Medievil, Blasto, and Jersey Devil from the PS1 era to the PS3 as full fledged sequels...I've always thought they were some pretty great platformers on the PS1, but I don't see them mentioned often. They would pr... #3

Agreed.

While I don't expect every site to find everything about Infamous 2 flawless, the first Infamous was a very solid game to begin with and all I've seen thus far is improvements on top of improvements in Infamous 2. I'm pretty confident this sequel is going to top the first game in both critical reception and sales, regardless of any nitpicking from any other site. Really can't wait to get my hands on it next year. #4.2

If something The Last Guardian related isn't shown at TGS, I'd be pretty disappointed...TLG is easily my most wanted upcoming game period. There probably isn't much of a of time table for it's release, but I'm just salivating to get more details about the game, or at least another new trailer

If TLG isn't mentioned or shown at the show, at the very least I'm hoping the Amazon.com France game listing of the Team ICO Collection back in June is offici... #1.3

"Single player will always suffer when multiplayer is added"

In most cases I think the Single Player portion of a game is affected when Multiplayer is added, but I think there's a few games whose Single Player component wasn't affected by Multiplayer, like Uncharted 2 for instance... The Single Player in UC2 was longer than UC1 and had even bigger set pieces than the Original.

Even though DS2 is one of my most anticipated Multiplat's of... #1.1.3

"and it wasn't even the same character."

^^ That's the exact same reason why I wasn't a supporter of the new Cole with the longer hair that Sucker Punch showed off...he just looked like a completely different character period. I mean, in Uncharted 3 I don't want Naughty Dog to show off a completely different looking Nathan Drake that has facial features that doesn't even resemble how he looked in the previous games, and I felt the same about Cole... #3.2

New IP's? Between Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, Sony has probably brought out more new IP's than both combined...heck, the majority of PS3 exclusives this generation started out as New IP's for goodness sake: Motorstorm, Resistance, Heavenly Sword, LBP, Heavy Rain, inFamous, Demon Souls, etc... and there's others like AGENT and The Last Guardian that have yet to be released.

Guerrilla's Killzone 3 will support 3D and they've already said they are worki... #1.4

It wouldn't surprise me at all if nearly every major publisher eventually implements this because of publisher's/developers loosing out on $$ due to Used games sales, and I could completely understand why Sony (and EA) would do it.

For people who are against this and regularly buy used games with an Online component, I guess they'll have to just wait a little while for a price drop....compared to just a few years ago this gen., to me it doesn't really seem to... #28

"why would I pay money to save money?"

For people who may download lots of content from the PSN, PSN+ could actually be a good deal for them OVER TIME.

Just an example, Amazon has something a little similar called "Amazon Prime" where you pay $79 dollars a year and get Free 2 Day Shipping on all items....that may sound like a lot up front, but for someone who is a very frequent buyer from Amazon and want their items quicker, they could en... #1.1.6

I'd like to know the same thing...there's been games that have taken nearly the same time to make like Alan Wake, and games that even took longer like StarCraft 2 or Too Human, but GT5 always gets ragged on for it's development.

I don't know, maybe the media thinks that 5 years is unnecessary for a Racing Sim., but there's been very few Racing Sim's (if any) that have been as ambitious as GT titles content wise, so I think the 5 year development is mor... #1.3.1

Looking forward to New Vegas, but I was a little disappointed that the games graphics were said to be not that much different from Fallout 3's...however I still plan on getting it because it was the gameplay and setting that initially pulled me in to Fallout 3 anyways, not so much the graphics and I think I'll enjoy New Vegas the same regardless.

For now I just hope New Vegas isn't as glitchy as Fallout 3. #7

For me it's AC: Brotherhood, Fallout: NV, GT5 (already pre-ordered) and possibly The Sly Cooper Collection.

The only game in my radar I'm on the fence about is Enslaved from Ninja Theory...the game interests me a LOT because it looks completely different than anything else released this year on PS3/360 and because I did enjoy Heavenly Sword, but I'm going wait and see how it reviews first and find out how long the Single Player is before I possibly spend $60 on it. #7

I would've definitely picked Drebin in MGS4. He wasn't featured a whole lot in the game, but I always thought he was a solid black video game character that wasn't portrayed stereotypically...I wouldn't mind seeing him in possible future Metal Gear Solid installments. #11

From Sony's 1st party until now from Early 2011, it's gonna be KZ3, GT5, and the Sly Collection for me. I skipped out on Motorstorm: Pacific Rift after initially getting the first in 2007, but I probably will end up getting Motorstorm Apolyplse sometime in 2011.

I hope both inFamous and Twisted Metal end up coming out sometime around the Summer, because I really looking forward to those too....the only other Exclusive games I'm most hoping that makes the 2011 sche... #11

"Yes uncharted 2 was pretty but it played in a straight line and when its done its done. Same with gow3. Short lived game."

If you say that about God of War 3, I guess you feel the same about Alan Wake on 360 since it was Single Player too? Just because a game is Single Player and not an extremely long game, it doesn't mean it's gonna be short-lived and forgotten about the next day by everyone who plays it. God of War 3 was FAR from forgettable to me and I&#... #3.1.2

I think the same thing too. With GT5 not coming out until the PS3's 4th year on the market, it makes perfect sense to save GT6 for next-gen so that Polyphony will have a full fleged GT title ready much sooner in the PS4's lifecycle.

With GT5 having so much content and features packed into it, I don't see a real need for another until next gen. anyways. #1.2

I would prefer to play the first Mass Effect first before playing Mass Effect 2 on PS3 since it's so story driven, but I'm still going to get ME2 on PS3 because it's the only Console Exclusive on 360 that I wanted on the PS3...as long as the backstory is explained well in the PS3 version, I think it'll do fine.

If I wanted I COULD play the first game on the PC, but the only thing keeping me from doing so is using the mouse and keyboard to play because I'd pre... #20

In addition to just the color blue I think it would've been pretty neat if they had the "GT" Gran Turismo logo on the top of the console or something....just looks kinda plain in comparison to other Limited Edition PS3 consoles I've seen, like the Yakuza 3 and FFXIII one.

I really wish Sony would start releasing some Limited Edition PS3's in the U.S. (and Europe) because Japan always gets the goodies, yet Japan is the smallest PS3 region. #9
