Awesome episode, and NIS remain one of my favorite and most respected publishers for their translation work on bringing over some of Japan's more obscure titles.
Xbox Live may have not launched with those features, and has had the added years to enhance their service. With Nintendo launching from basically square one they should be adding all that they can to make sure they at least match what the others offer.
Developers having the option to add their own achievement like system is a start, but why not just add a universal achievement system? Nintendo have a road map that Steam, Sony, and Microsoft have laid out.
N...
I hope so, but its not so much the tech that makes me worry about the Wii U standing out, its all the little things like cross game chat and achievements that gamers have grown accustomed too that haven't been addressed by Nintendo that has me worried.
Should definitely check it out!
The quality of mobile games continues to impress me, I don't quite think they will surpass the need for dedicated handhelds, or consoles anytime soon, but they can definitely stand as a third pillar.
I thought many reviews of this game were a little on the harsh side, I didnt think the game was as bad as many made it out to be.
Quite possibly my game of the year.
I am eager to get my hands on the console finally, although I cant help but feel a bit of dread towards it. Not so much that the games wont be worth playing, but rather that the console still wont be able to compete online wise with the likes of Sony and Microsoft.
Damn! Why must my laptop suck so bad?
At only $39, I went ahead and purchased a copy. Better buy cheap now than have to pay out the ass later. From what I have seen and messed around with it does take some getting used to, but overall I think it works fairly well once you have become accustomed to how it operates. Whether or not that equates to a good experience daily, I suppose I'll find out soon enough.
At least Microsoft know what people think of Windows and gaming. Maybe they will take that all to heart and really put some much needed effort into it.
I think the system will sell just fine. Many will see the Wii name and be more likely to purchase if they are already familiar with the brand.
I think the upcoming DLC Hearthfire is a good indication of where they could go with the game. Giving players the option to buy homes for real money and designing them yourselves could be a profitable venture.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what they have up their sleeves for this game.
Agree with you on it being one of the best sandbox games in awhile. I was burned out on open-world games and had planned to pass this by, I'm glad I didn't.
You should, I don't think you would be disappointed.
Makes me almost want to go out and find a wife tonight!
Absolutely loving this game. Great story, drama, and character development. Hats off to Square for successfully pulling this game off.
That was one of the things I enjoyed the most about the game was the look and atmosphere of the world.
Surprised by the scores the game has been getting, I figured the game would be average at best.
