My Top 3 Games All Time.

Ever since I can remember, I've been holding a controller. I've had many consoles, and memories with them too, which made me wonder, What are the top 5 games I've ever played? So, I decided to compile a list. This list is my opinion.

#1. Sonic The Hedgehog 2.
Yep. Sonic 2. Not 1. Why? I hear you screaming at your dogs...
Well it's quite simple. Sonic 2 took what had been a revolutionary platformer, added prettier graphics, faster gameplay, more complex levels, Tails and of course, the ability to spin, WHICH, to date is something I still wish I could do... Don't judge me. One of my fondest memories is easily, Escaping the Rising waters on Chemical Plant. Good god, the first time I played it, I almost had a heart attack.

#2. God Of War 2.
Ah. Now this, my friends, is something that will always stay with me. I'll never forget the first time I ripped a cyclops eye straight out of his head, with Kratos's cement like hands. Graphically, this game was stunning, the gameplay ran smooth as a peach, and the violence was on a monumental scale, which even made me cringe at some points. A lot of people say "It's easy to play God Of War, Just press Square." Them people are living on a chair of lies and hate. If it's that easy, just change the difficulty to "TITAN" and see if you can "Just mash square" then. The characters are memorable, the story builds from the first one, unveiling one of my favorite rivalries of gaming history (Kratos V Zues)and the bosses overall, are amazing. If you own a Playstation but have yet to play GoW, shame on you.

#3. Okami.
Visually, stunning, the gameplay was something so unique, it's unreal. Never in my life did I dream of being a wolf god, with the ability to summon a paint brush at will, so I could slash my enemies with a quite swipe. One of the best things about this game was the story. The fact, that even though the character you control doesn't speak, doesn't stop the ability for the character itself to grow on the gamer. I found myself actually caring about this wolf, who I'd just spent 3 hours painting with... If you haven't played it, I suggest you pick it up.

So, this short little list is just a trip down memory lane for me. This is my opinion, I'm sure you will have different ones, so please, no hate if you disagree. So guys, what's your top 3?

You know, maybe I'm just weird but I always loved Sonic 3 & Knuckles a tad more than 2. As far as greatest games, it would be really tough for me to narrow it down to a top three, but I know among the list would be games like Killer7, Brutal Legend, Resident Evil 4 and Portal 2.

Portal 2 was brilliant.
I never really got into sonic 3 and knuckles, I've cleared it several times, But it just never grew on me :/

Yeah Sonic 3 + Knuckles is still the best sonic game to date in my book. And I don't think it'll ever be surpassed by any future sonic games, unfortunately.

Here's my list:
1) Demon's souls
2) Final Fantasy IX
3) Metal Gear Solid

Good list, can't really fault it at all. I have yet to play Okami, but I have it downloaded on my PS3 thanks to PS+.

Anyway, I can't think of my top 3 games. All I know is that Super Mario World is my number 1. I would like to think Dark Souls is part of my top 3, but I will see if it stands the test of time.

#02 - Super Mario World (SNES)
#01 - Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox)

Systems listed are the ones I played on. Didn't play much PSX or PS2 only when I got a chance to at a friends house a few times. Went from SNES/N64/PC/Xbox/X360/PS3. My first game was Super Mario Bros 3 (NES) got to play it at an after school daycare house when I was 6 years old. None of the other kids got to play it, I would have to be super nice the whole time and when the other kids went to sleep I'd sneak into the kitchen and beg to play it. Only got to play for about 30 minutes and it was time to go.
