Borderlands - The Vault and Beyond
Yesterday, I finally beat the main story of Borderlands. After holding it off for so long, and with Borderlands 2 on the horizon, I beat it. I defeated the Crimson Lance, I opened The Vault after fighting waves upon waves of relentless Guardians. I fought off The Destroyer and after long and painful, yet fun battle, I killed it. This was a great filling. I had finally beat the game, which is one of my all-time favorites. But I'm oh, so far away from being finished with it. Having 840 Gamerscore, and a total of 43 achievements, I've only just scratched the surface of this game.
Waiting for me now, are 4 action-packed, fun-filled, and gun-filled expansion packs. The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, and Claptrap's New Robot Revolution. Each of these having their own fill of achievements, quests and of course, guns. I WILL max out this game, get all of the achievements, because its one of the easier games to max out. As long as you have time and the will to do it. I will also beat every quest in the expansions that there is to beat before I play Borderlands 2. And when I do play Blands 2, I'll get to reap rewards for being a veteran of the franchise, courtesy of Gearbox.
Blands 2 is almost here, and I only have so much time to get this game finished, which is probably what I deserve for waiting so long to finally finish it. Lol. Anyways, I'll be playing this game A LOT in the upcoming days, and Blogging about it. The countdown to Borderlands 2 is ON, and its getting very close to launch. I'll be there at midnight to get my Vault Hunter Collector's Edition (I missed the pre-order for the Loot Chest Edition).
Well, time to play The Zombie Island of Doctor Ned. Peace.
