I have to say i'm impressed that bungie got an engine that can output quality graphics, it's very impressive and i was convinced the game will look great, But i have to say That visuals like this arent anything new, first off the opening cenematic of KZ2 and the Bullet trailer using nothing but KZ2's ingame gameplay engine Outclass this trailer. I wont even go into Uncharted 2, because while the Game sports top notch graphics it's in a different art direction and style.
I'll say this Halo:Reach Blows MW2's visuals out of the water, But this by far doesn't trump any of the Top PS3 exclusives, In fact in this genre, KZ2 stands at the top, with it's realistic and gritty atmosphere and austounding graphics.
Halo:Reach is Impressive, but It's Hard to be WOWed when you've been playing games that have had graphics like this since 2007-2009, It's Visuals are impressive, and i am sure that since the game is 1 year away it'll look better, but as for now, It just doesn't BLOW me away,
Maybe it blows 360 fans away because, There has been No other exclusive on the 360 with High Quality and high fidelity graphics besides Gears and Gears 2.
I'm impress still, bungie Did it, The game Looks very impressive, and totally owns everything that has been released on the 360 out of the water, 5 years in and they've finally created an engine that Uses the 360 the way it should be used. Good for Bungie, I'll actually have to Play this one, because the only other Halo i care about was CE.
Like Figboy says, Only time will tell if the media praises this game for being gritty and colorless the way another game that was released in feb 2009 was critized by the very same fanbase praising Halo's New look.
But none the less, bravo Bungie, you have me intrigued in your game. It looks Next Gen, after 4 years it's about damn time the flagship game of the 360 Looked like it was the best looking 360 game. ^^
