=this is an update on 07/July/09=
Well, my names Cajun Chicken; well, actually, I'm lying. Its not really, not that you need to know my real name anyway, I recently have come out of uni with a BA Hons in Animation, specifically, 2D.
I'll get down to the nitty gritty, I like games, not all types of games, but I like a vast majority of the games out there except from RPGs (JRPGs, to be more elaborate) and RTS.
I have high respect for developers and the amazing things they do, however, I will point out my opinion when I think a developer has gone downhill.
I do my research and know a lot about the background of developers.
My gaming all started on various models of the Commadore Amiga, I never had a SNES or a Megadrive, but caught up thanks to emulation on the PC, my older brother had a Playstation which I loved to play and a few years later, I got my own. This then lead onto being brought a second-hand Dreamcast right at the end of its manufactuered life, an XBOX then an a secondhand PS2, now this gen I finally had enough money because of working part time during summer 2007 to get myself an XBOX 360 followed by a PS3; of which I heartedly admit, I prefer the PS3 over the 360 due to the fact the 360 is essentially for those who never had a chance to be impressed by the XBOX and the fee for XBL annoys me, a dumb PC, does the job, but really isn't all that big of a deal. I have no shame in secondhand consoles and games and generally, I'm a bit of an cheapskate.
Recently I have also invested in both Nintendo consoles, the Wii and the DS and I'm beginning to warm up to them.
Additionally, I am also interested in retro remakes and the indie gaming scene, I have a massive amount of freeware games.
