Yeah I wish Dante's Inferno is executed better as a game, I love the design and the setting, but it ended up just to be another simple button masher. Personally I don't even like GoW's game play and was hoping Dante's would be more interesting/challenging like Ninja Gaiden/DMC. Guess I shouldn't have hoped for too much after all the vid indicate they are trying to make the gameplay just like GoW.

Still planning on getting the game on the basis of the beautiful and dark design, and story is pretty much gonna be guaranteed to be good.

Game play-wise I just now gotta hope GoW3 will step up their game and make the game play even better than before. View

If you understand economics, bailing out banks was nessasary to save the US economy. If that many banks all fail, the ripple effect would mess up everybody in US and even to the extent of other countries.

For people who never played any of the Yakuza games it's better to play Yakuza 3 before they play Kenzan. Yakuza 3 tells you what happens in part 1 and 2 in the summery in the beginning of the game, so playing 3 alone would be ok (I still suggest playing part 1).

Kenzan is a spin off of the Yakuza series and imo you get a better experience with Kenzan if you know the Yakuza characters before hand.

I am thinking Kenzan will be released by Sega if people liked Yakuza 3 enough. Graphically it's pretty much the same and the story might even be better than Yakuza 3 (not saying that Yakuza 3 wasn't good or anything).

Either way, I am glade as an Yakuza series fan that more people will have a chance to play this game. View

People that b!tch about these kinda games got to realize, just like there are many different categories in porn that can seem extremely abusive to women (bondage/torture/strangle/gag/ rape/etc... whatever BDSM subcategories u can think of), these are just part of sexual play by the consenting adults meaning all sides (the torturing and the being tortured) both enjoy the process. Just because the games are presented in "game" format, their intended use is the same as porn; just because it's subject matter is filed under a more risque porn category, doesn't mean these should be discriminated against like it is going to make kids and immature adults become rapists.

The game that was under fire the most was Rapelay, which the original Japanese title was pronounced Rape-play anyway, was always clear to it's customers that it was just a sexual play and never considered a rape simulator like what the protesters made it out to be.

So if this is not the Wii game (which the name is announced already, Sword of Legendia), it might be the unnamed PS3 RPG on the list.

This was a bug that the touch screen function will fail after the OS goes into sleep mode. An update that corrected this problem was not before this TV show has aired.

If like you guys said this problem only occurs to Sony monitors it's the OS's problem failing the Sony monitor's drivers after sleep mode, and if Microsoft did this on purpose as a practical joke then it came back and bit them on the ass I guess.

I watched so many commentary playthroughs of this game, it got many bad reviews but it's actually one of the must have games. Hearing people (especially girls) scream and cry from the commentary gameplay is just a trip.

One of the music was a parody of Dragon Quest, and the default names for your characters are (written in Katakana parodying the same sounds): From (From Software), Ansony (Sony), Segirl (spelled Sega-ru in Japanese parodying SEGA), Iren (IREM), MiKoToNa (Konami), Quenis (Square-Enix).

Reading from Japanese sites supposedly they got authorization (from whom I have no idea) for being similar to Zelda, they even poke fun at themselves in the vid of the similarities. The the system of growing your sword as your health bar was similar to a flash RPG game which they also got an authorization from the author.

In the vid it says you will also see many parodies toward retro games that will put a smile on your face. Things like having played retro games will give you hints in how to fight boss fights.

Looks like a big parody/homage game so I wonder how much the younger generation will appreciate it if they've never played the old school games. It's by From Software who made Demon's Souls so I am pretty sure they will do a good job mixing the old w/ the new. View
