Ancient Reviews: V1.
544 days 21 hours ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
Alright, here's what I'm going to do with my blog, now. Every Tuesday and Thursday I'm going to review 3 Retro games. Today, I review Grand Theft Auto (PS1), Super Spy Hunter (NES), and Road Rash II (Genesis). Grand Theft Auto (PS1,1998)    About GTA: Although Grand Theft Auto IV has recently been released, and is one of the greatest games this gen, the original GTA wasn't that gr...

My Idea For A New Castlevania Game
547 days 5 hours ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
I've been thinking: There's no Castlevania for PS3, 360, OR Wii! So I think I've got a pretty good idea for the next Castlevania game It's the year 2000. 6 months have passed since Dracula was sealed away in 1999. But the castle wasn't sealed away... One person stumbles upon the cursed castle (I don't have a name yet). He has no idea where he is. Upon entering, he discovers a mysterio...

Trick for Blood Omen 2: Get more life
552 days 10 hours ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
Okay, since this website doesn't have a feature that lets you post tips and strategies for games to help people out, I've decided to turn my blog into a Tip area, where I (or anybody else who reads this) can help you with a boss or a puzzle or something. My first strategy is for Blood Omen 2 (PS2, will probably work on any other system) to get a higher life bar. If you've played Blood Ome...

Bring GTA 4 to Wii already!!
555 days 6 hours ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
You would think that with all of the success of Grand Theft Auto IV on the 360 and PS3, Wii owners would finally hear news of GTA IV coming to Wii. But not yet. Sure the graphics wouldn't be as good as the PS3/360 versions. But people saying that gameplaywise GTA IV is too big for Wii is pure crap. I know for a fact that the gameplay can be on Wii because Smash Bros. probably has more content...

Secret for Devil May Cry 2: Super Demon Mode
564 days 1 hour ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
In Devil May Cry 2, if your playing as Dante, let your life gauge get down to red and then transform into a demon. He should turn into a different demon with twice the power of the other demon. Questions about a game? Comment or PM me. I'm TheDeadMetalhead

Trick for GTA: Liberty City Stories (PSP)- Get a Rhino Tank easily
564 days 2 hours ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
This is actually a really interesting trick I found out while earning a 6-star wanted level because I got pissed off when I failed a mission. First, make sure you have a good salvo of Grenades and Rocket Launcher Ammo (or any heavy-artillery 1st-person weapon). Get at least a 2-star wanted level, then go to the Safe House in Portland and hide behind the wall in front of the Safe House  tha...

Cheat for Spider-Man (PS1)- Get everything
564 days 21 hours ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
To get every suit, every comic, basically everything you can unlock in that game. Go to cheats, and type in EELNATS. You should have everything including the Captain Universe costume that makes you Invincible. Questions about a game? Comment or PM me. Seriously, someone use this option already!  :(

Trick for GTA: San Andreas- Easy Money
564 days 21 hours ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
This is one mean trick. As you know there's 2 casinos in the Las Venturas area of the game. You can make over $20 million in an hour. Here's how. First, SAVE YOUR GAME! Then, go to either the Four Dragons Casino or Caligula's Casino and play a $1,000,000 game of Blackjack (if you can't go $1 million, then do the next highest one until you can). If you lose the game of Blackjack, reset. I...

Final Fantasy VIII Strategy: Get higher level spells AFTER Dollet
564 days 22 hours ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
Alright, so I've told you how to get high level spells before you get to Dollet, but what about high-level spells after Dollet? There are 2 more great spells you can get before you head to Timber. But you can only do this after you finish Dollet. Holy Flare To get 100 Holys and 100 Flares you must level up 2 out of 3 characters in your party to at least 30 (It will probably be S...

Strategy for FFVIII (PS1) - Power-Up before you head to Dollet
566 days ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
In Final Fantasy VIII, you power-up differently, so you can power-up earlier in the game than past Final Fantasies. Here's how. High Level Magic First, junction a GF to Squall and Quistis and make sure they have Draw equipped. Now head to the World Map and level up Squall and Quistis until they get up to about Lv. 20-23. You should notice that the enemies have different magic that you c...

Now, what's the BEST game you've ever played?
572 days 22 hours ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
Okay, so I've asked you what's the worst game that you've ever played. But now I ask you, what is the best game that you've ever played? I've played a lot of good games, so it's very hard to decide which one is my favorite. Well, there's Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64), Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) and Gran Turismo 4 (PS2, haven't played 5 yet). But I would have to say I'm at a 3-way tie betw...

How come Movies being made into video games never works?
574 days 8 hours ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
This is a plague that has been haunting the video game industry for over 25 years: Great movies being made into mediocre games. With the exeption of Spider-Man 2 (PS2), Batman Returns (SNES), and a few others, the whole idea of games based on movies just never seems to work. Look at the most recent one: Iron Man for example. It was an awesome movie, so Marvel decides to make it into a game. Wha...

What Is the WORST game you have ever played?
574 days 11 hours ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
Any self-respecting gamer has played at least one truly terrible game that they have just wanted to burn. But what is the absolute worst game you have ever played? For me, it's a tie between E.T (Atari 2600) and Grand Prix (also Atari 2600). With E.T, all you did was run around a decidedly Green area collecting square ummm... Reeses pieces, maybe? And Grand Prix (the image on the right)had ...

Why is Wii getting treated like a PS2?
578 days 8 hours ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
I can't believe how game developers are treating the Wii. They're treating it like a PS2 with motion controls! Look at Guitar Hero III, for example. The Wii version was the same as the PS2 version! (and why are they still making PS2 games, anyway?) While the 360/PS3 versions get more content and better graphics! Also, I think the graphics on the Wii are being vastly underestimated as well. The ...

Xbox 360 or PS3?
578 days 8 hours ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
I need the community's help on this subject. I own a Wii, and don't get me wrong, I love it. Unfortunately, all of my favorite game series (Soul Calibur, GTA, Gran Turismo) are all 360/PS3 exclusive. I'm going to get one or the other, but I'm torn between the two (the 360's cheaper, and has more games. But the PS3 has way better graphics and will probably be around longer). At first, I wanted a...

How would you feel if a new Sega system was released? Would you buy it?
578 days 8 hours ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
Personally, I would consider buying it. The Dreamcast was a great system, but no 3rd party support and a rush to release it before the PS2 is what ultimately doomed it. I think that if those idiots at Sega don't make the same stupid mistakes that they made with the Saturn and the Dreamcast, like rushing development, that a new Sega system would be great. On 9/9/09, perhaps?

A Wii with PS3/Xbox360 graphics. Can it be done?
580 days 1 hour ago | by: TheDeadMetalhead
I say, yes it can. If a game developer put enough time and effort into the graphical quality of a game, then yes. And even if it couldn't, Nintendo should make an attachment that can somehow make their games PS3 quality. What do you think? Do you think it could be done?
