I stopped rowing and got out of shape because I injured my back really badly. I can't row anymore because it is so hard on your back and I could easily re-injure it. It's depressing as hell when you can't do something you love and that is why I got so out of shape.
To everyone else. If you go and read the full article or my first post on this I clearly explain that WiiFit isn't a great workout in any factor (other than a good way to stretch with the yoga and a decent set of core exercises) but it is a very effective motivator for me and that it was I needed to start getting exercise. I'll attribute most of my weight loss to actually running and watching what I eat but I'm doing that because I have to weight myself and think about it every day. Some people can get out and do it on their own I lost that drive and this has really helped me, might not be everyone's cup of tea and I'm sure it doesn't work for everyone but it is for me.
