LittleBigPlanet is amazing. That's all you need to know about this review. LittleBigPlanet takes old school platformers, modernized them by allowing gamers to create so much to play them how you want.

First the campaign. Yes there's a campaign in LBP. Well sort of. The developers created plenty of stages for you to play through in which your sackboy/sackgirl must save the world from an evil tyrant who's taking it over. As you could probably tell the story isn't revolutionary, but it does add to the cuteness of the oh so lovable game that is LBP. The stages the developers created are extremely fun, and they get more challenging as you progress through the game. You can play through the campaign alone, co-op (with up to 4 friends), or online co-op (also up to 4 friends).

Next the creative aspects of LittleBigPlanet. You can practicality create anything you think of using the tools in LBP. Go online, and you can see all the amazing levels created by other gamers. However, it takes time to get use to the tools, and it can take a while to build something like a car let alone an entire level. However, you can save objects as well as earn them by playing through levels which make life that much simpler. As of now and probably always there are more people who only play levels instead of creating, but those who are creating have provided enough content to keep the players satisfied.

The negatives. Every game has its faults and LittleBigPlanet is no exception. LittleBigPlanet's main problem to me is its online. Every so often you may run into minor lag especially playing offline co-op, but play online co-op with a group of people and the game chugs. It's a shame, because playing with friends makes the game infinitely more fun, but it just doesn't work as good as it should. Offline co-op works well, but online not so much. Another problem is the left behind system. There's no way of telling how it works, it's just completely random. The person who's moving toward the end should leave the others, or the person with the most bubbles, but you have to play the game to know what I'm talking about.

But ultimately LittleBigPlanet is still one of the best games this generation, and SHOULD BE OWNED BY EVERY PS3 OWNER. LittleBigPanet has redefined the old school platformer, and brought back a genre that was soon to be extinct.
