@above: please just stfu, infamous isn't like GTA or saints row it is a sandbox adventure game first and foremost, you can't jack cars or any of that Cool GTA sh1t.

And yes unless it comes on 3+ discs for the 360 version the potential for the game will be extremely limited... good job rockstar on making another mediocre POS GTA game if they put it on 1 dvd9.

Just re-master San andreas, it would probably own whatever GTA5 turns out to be anyway.

Maybe HR won't be a good game.
Maybe HR won't truly achieve to be a step further in gaming.
Maybe HR is not adressed to a young demographic.
But rest assured, it will do much more than cut-scenes and QTEs, and it will prove as a unique experience in gaming to lots of gamers.
Meanwhile, you can try to skip this one and pick up something more suited for other demographics, like EyePet or even better some Natal tech demo (the one in which you must jump and kick balls like a monkey comes to mind). Alternatively, as showed by your comments history and a simple word count, you can continue filling the threads talking more about Sony, PSN and PS3 than Microsoft, XBL and XBOX which is the only system you own.

The pedals which are controlled via the shoulder buttons are pressure sensitive to match the cars. Dont press down to hard to actually make your car's tires grip the asphalt. Same physics as IRL.

Or you know what? Remember in GTA 2, with the top-down view, you could identify the gangs based on what designs they had on their cars?

Like the Smiley gang? Yakuza? All of those? I'd rather have a sillier GTA game than GTAIV. I remember San Andreas had a sense of humor to it, but GTAIV was more realistic. People in SA said silly things more often.

The greatest thing about Vice City were the bikini-clad roller skating girls.

The reason people complain about it, both PS3- and 360 owners complain about it is because it just wasn't that a great game. It has nothing to do which platform you has it for, as both versions are almost identical, apart from the DLC.
I for one wont but GTA5 if Rockstar doesn't make some real improvements to the framerate, size of the city and controlls.

I'm a ps3 user and i liked gta4 beat it like 10 times, and most of the people on my psn friends list like it too.you shouldn't take this site too seriously,tho i think vice city is better then Liberty City i just enjoyed it more,my only complaint for gta 4 is that there weren't enough vehicles and guns like in san andreas,like the tank,jetpack,ect. i just thought they could do more,look at the last gen gta games and look at the new one its like a step back but with prettier graphics,still love the game tho

first off its not just PS3 gamers complaining about GTA IV its 360 gamers also. The game was extremely overhyped, the gameplay didn't match or succeed any of the PS2 versions, It could have been way better if they actually used blu-ray to their advantage. but the fact that it had to be multiplat held the game back so much that it was a big let down for a lot of gamers and NOT just PS3 GAMERS in fact most the complaints I hear about GTA IV come from 360 owners as to the gameplay and game being overhyped.

Is still the best GTA game even though SA gave it a great run. Now that it's all but confirmed, I really wish it was PS3 exclusive. I bought the 360 CE of GTA IV and EFLC but imagine how big the next GTA could be if it weren't constricted to a DVD.

IS IT ME, OR IS THIS GTA THING "OVERKILL"?
Don't get me wrong, I'm all about art and video gaming, but Halo and GTA are not innovating. I understand that Ratchet and Clank get's multiple titles, BUT look at the games. Something new and innovative is happening in every title. GTA has Sex, Violence, Theft, and Language in EVERY game.

The only thing that changes in GTA games are the Charecters. GTA 3, 4, Guy Tony, are the same....just like the Tv show 24, and The Bourne Identity Movies. Again, I respect and support the style and art form of games like GTA and Halo, but I would prefer people to open up to evolution of great game design and story telling. Little Big Planet, Uncharted 1&2, The 1st Halo (Combat Evolved), Resident Evil, Mario Galaxy/Mario 64, and Bioshock, did not get the type of respect they REALLY deserved. (REALLY?? LBP and Fallout 3 loses GOTY to GTA 4?)Rockstar's Midnight Club games were very exciting and delivered great experiences. To bad they gave up and "Crossed Over" to appease American's thirst of senseless violence. (Prob. the same crowd thats mad at MS for banning "pirates & Modders". )

According to IGN and multiple other websites, GTA4 ran better on PS3, with less texture pop-in (see video comparaison).

So there's no reason to think it will be different for GTA5, which should run better on PS3 too, as it should.

milkbox cant even claim a 1080p title, so ps3 is superior in that sense.

though even the ps3 out of 300 titles only about 20 are 1080p.. thats less then 10%.

Sony plans on future 3D support for all titles! That would be impossible at 1080p, so most demanding titles are 720p!

At least Sony has an excuse. Only multiplat games and 360 exclusives run in sub HD! PS3 exclusives run in 720p or higher. Wonder why???

there hardly are any multiplats on the consoles doing 1080p, the ones that do 1080p are few and far in between and i wouldnt call those the kind of games that push hardware to the edge.

If a game like farcry2, gta4 ran on consoles on 1080p then that would be pushing things.

Pc's (even a 2year old one) the only machine out there that does true HD.

Both the consoles are limited to 720p or below for most games. Making PC the obvious superior version for any multiplatform.
