Sony cracking down on Warhawk cheaters

This should have been done from the get go. I don't understand why people cheat online. If you suck then get your skills up. DOn't mod your controller to glitch yourself to a mediocre rating, because most of the people who cheat never see a high ranking anyway.

I hate going in a game and see some bouncing around non stop, or having to unload 5 clips into someone, becuase their heal does go down naturally.

These kinds of cheaters don't cheat because they want to raise their rank; they do it because it messes with you. They take away an important gaming factor from all other gamers by cheating the system. They get their kicks out of ruining the game. As Alfred says, some people can't be bought, they just want to watch the world burn.

What do they do when they cheat? I never seen one. But then again it's been a while since i played Warhawk. I'm such a great pilot in that game... hehehe. I can duke it out properly against 2 but 3 become a problem and 4+ is just fly away.

In MGO ( Metal Gear Online ) which is the king of online cheater's per rate of users left playing it, lol. This is called Boosting. Gain any rank and any Emblem by hosting your own room and putting a password on it. So no one else can enter.

Otherwise, for normal game play. Cheater's just use a Lag Switch. Which is more than half of them.

I mean they don't show on the map and all of a sudden you bump into them and they run you over or shoot at you. You can still hear them, especially tanks, as they come closer. Since most of them grab a wrench, less than three mines are not effective I like placing 3 or 4 at the same spot. Nice surprise for sneaking bastards. It's more challenging jumping on top of them with a wrench.

I know that you always show on map unless you carry knife, fly stealth and I think when sniping or using binoculars. I didn't know that the speed affects whether you show up on map. Does that work for vehicles, warhawks and when you're on foot? I'll have to check, but I'm pretty sure those tanks were moving pretty fast.

Check your filter settings. Maybe they are too specific? I know that was the problem with KZ2. I thought no one played, but when I changed the filter, I found tons of games.

When mine is set to player server (not dedicated servers) there's loads. You just don't rank up in those.

And yeh I also checked resistance last week and there's still loads of pros their. I much prefer RFoM than Res2.

Yeah make sure you

- Set your allowed ping to be 250 or higher
- Set your allowed regions to be worldwide
- Make sure everything else is as general as possible

It sucks that you don't get as much choice any more, but there are STILL loads of people playing on ALL of the expansions, ALL of the modes, and ALL of the maps.

Though your idea of "virtually no-one on" might be different to mine.

According to http://myhawk.org/community... there are over 13,000 players a day on Warhawk.

under the map is annoying by behind the mountains in Grinder sux ballz...

i only do it when some noob gets behind the map and someone report about it....

get behind the mountains and no scope their azz ... best feeling ever...lolz
