You said it PJP2! We know Dylan and Co can easily hammer pretty much any opposition og the MP fromt after Warhawks amazing success and sterling community so the nest logical step is to add the SP campaign for total domination-and in space too? Cannot wait!

Starhawk will be epic and we're just left to wonder exactly how epic that'll be. Really pray they come up with a great SP/co-op campaign(two or four player co-op with two to a 'Hawk would be a cool thing imo)just to show they can do it AND give the mp more context-it really is just about all that's missing as I've never been as impressed by an online only game on a console-and that includes games like L4D as well as I just don't count what that had as SP as anything other than very basic training!

....warkhawk improved would be awesome.

But if Starhawk maintains the simple open, free flowing gameplay of warhawk(including vehicles) then they'll have a winner.

Just hope they go FPS not TPS.

omg Warhawk has got to be the most underrated game of all time along the lines of games like Okami and SoTC.

I really hope Starhawk is the next game Lightbox is making and i pray they take every thing they learned in WH and transition it tenfold into starhawk. Features i pray for:

-Space stations hovering above Earth to dock and take off from Star Wars style

- These aforementioned space stations are HUGEEEEEEE ala Starships in Star Wars

- Both modern and slightly futuristic weapons galore

- futuristic jetpacks for advance flight

- A myriad of different types of Aircraft not just 2 like in WH

- Different aircraft has different abilities: some of faster but weaker, some has more turbo but cant hold as many weapons, some are slower but can take more damage, etc

- Super fortresses that holds about 20+ players in a single ship

- A mode where you can capture areas that are other space stations and reconstruct them to add to your teams arsenal

- Each space station has a unique ability also: One made have a super shield, one may have a super rail gun, another may have a teleportation module

Come on LIGHTBOX MAKE IT HAPPEN!!

Yep nice MP ideas Bubbs! Don't forget the SP though-I'd love to see the game complete with all modes and a great SP just gives that extra field of reference to the online chaos for me and this time round it's a must, imo, if for nothing more than to prove they can do it as we all know the MP will kick ass again.

Will be interesting to see whether this will be mainly space stations(and what powes they have)or if there'll be system,s of moons, planets and asteroids as well to flit between and fight on. We might even get to find out where and why the Chernovan invasion came from and see the Eucadians take it back to them.

Would it not be totally awesome and truly epic you could have all that and then fly back to earth to play the original warhawk with some sort of seamless transition. Never gonna happen but it would be cool.

Thanks guys! I mean I love WH and am jus stoked for a WH in space. Mastiff I haven't even thought about SP, I 4got all about it. A story explaining how the chernovans ggot to earth is brilliant. There is however 1 problem I jus thought about with a space themed game. Becuz of spaces darkness on all sides, there's no way to really tell how fast someone or an object is moving in space. On earth things look fast relative to earths backdrop (the sky, water, land) but in space I wonder how they'll show speed and distance considering there's nuttin in space to juxtapose the planes.

All this talk has set me off for some Wahawk sniping on the Archipelago! The original and best sniping map for the Hawk! IDK why but I don't really enjoy sniping as much in any other game!

Is the distant third person view on the character you control, every other view on vehicles or aircraft was perfect.. but i don't know.. that view kind of feels off compared to the rest.

and the centered cross hair and auto aiming sucks.

Just wish they designed the tanks and jeeps and even warhawks to look more cool or modern(eg tanks looking like M1 Abrams, Merkava 4 etc, Jeeps looking like Hummers etc).

Warhawk was perfect as a TPS. Although I agree the auto-aim was a bit annoying after a while but changing it to FPS is going to fix that.

Plus, do you really want to float around in space with a FPS view? Talk about motion sickness :p

Warhawk was rock solid it's a sad thing it wasn't more notably recognized it just kind of got caught up in the fanboy gears and lost it's momentum.

If you don't have Warhawk though it's one helluva game.

This is the 2nd best multiplayer experience after kz2 imo. However the learning curve is a tad too steep, hence new players find it hard to get into it.
