The g25 is a great wheel, only complaint on it is the piss poor shifter.

I prefer the fanatec wheels though the force feedback is so sweeter.

Considering you still cant buy one until October, since they are backlogged with orders.. and no 360 titles support the wheel except forza3?

Or are you buying another fantec for forza, or hoping they will convert it if you ship it to germany?

I have both, the FFB on the g25 is miles above the fantec, and theh build quality is loose compared to the heavy g25. The FFB is debatable its really to taste, but the G25 is more responsive than the fantec. Try GTR2/LiveForSpeed/Gtlegends out.

I mean the Fantec has a battery powered pedal base ffs.

Hhmm lets see, use a no name company (Fanatec) who is relatively quite new to the scene or a LARGE World Wide renowned company (Logitech) who has been around longer, has vast knowledge and MUCH MORE experience in gaming & with peripherals? Yeah, I'll stick with my G25 http://img388.imageshack.us...

And now it looks I will be upgrading to the G27 real soon...

You have to buy that fantec if you want to use 6spd/clutch in Forza3, which you cant use on any other device besides the 360. So if you already own a fantec, like me. You have to buy another or hope you can convert it to the 360. For $300. Most sim folk like myself use the same g25 for PC sims & PS3 sims.

The g25 didn't have any PS3 specific functions, thats what logitech gran turismo wheel is for.

You cant use:

DFpro
momo
g25
g27
mercedes
custom/wheel setups

with the 360. You couldn't use the g27 anyway.

You've obviously having used a G25! It has practically the exact same features as the Fanatec one except that it doesn't need two gear sticks to switch from the 6 speed to sequential. It just has a dial to switch to either on the fly.

Yeah but that's meant for those who want a cheap alternative. I've been eying the Logitech Driving Force GT because I don't have the cash to blow. Hopefully this will drive the price for G25 down.

if you don't know ALL fanatec wheels are compatible with my PS3 where as ONLY ONE is compatible with yours! We also get support for many other great wheels whereas you get none! My old PC has better sim games than your console and Forza 3 is just another arcade game in sim clothing!
