But we got to admit, with or without trophies, this is one heck of a game to experience.
I've been waiting for trophies to replay the campaign, and even get into the online multiplayer, but I think it will celebrate it's birthday inside my PS3... With me.

Still the best game this gen... Which game can beat that? Only one game 'could' surpass MGS4 overall, and thats Uncharted 2.. I think U2 will be outstanding as a Action Adventure, but MGS4 is more a epic drama with emotions, never seen in a video game before..

Damn, the PS3 exclusives are too good..

But I only play it about once a month, so I still haven't beaten it.

I bet you I'm one of very few people who has owned the game for a year and still not beaten that.

Still playing Metal Gear Online to this day. Best online experience ever for me, but the one thing I would fix is it needs dedicated servers. Nothing ticks me off more than laggers in ANY online game.

Good game yeah, great? no chance it would have been great if the second half was as good as the first but after act three it lasts about an hour if you skip the cut scenes. Loved the final boos fight on top of the war ship tho

The end of the game...the fight on top of the warship, is quite literally, the most enjoyable fight I'd ever played in any game. I was on my feet yelling, like "TAKE THAT SH!T!!" (I had to redo it like 10 times, it was so hard) at the top of my lungs.

I'll never forget how I felt, the music changes, your mood changes, it was beautiful...

Hahaha, I played the game on hard the first time, and I had so much trouble with Vamp and Liquid. After "defeating" Vamp 3 times and he ressurected himself 3 times I was like "HOW THE F*CK DO I KILL YOU?!" And then I rememberd Naomi saying something about the syringes and how they are nano surpressors or something like that. And then I got the MF.

the greatest game to be released this generation. Easily a masterpiece to go down in the history books as one of the best games of all-time. I'm bummed the next console MGS will most likely not feel like a "real" MGS.. but I guess it's all the more reason to buy a PSP soon for Peace Walker.

12 - I recently played through again
I played it through and finished it about 2 weeks ago, but only the second time since I got it.

It's awesome. Probably the most involving game anyone will ever play. Not many games rope you into the story and characters like this one.

My friend played all 4 metal gear solid's and said although they were good they are mediocre at best. Seriously there is only so much a single person can do. How many times has snake saved the world? and people still believe those games are realistic, pffft. The only appealing thing i see in mgs4 are the graphics and true gamers know graphics arnt everything.
