major letdown since F5 developed some of the most amazing games

the star wars rogue squadron on n64 and the 2 sequels on the gc

2 - i bought it.
Played 10hrs or so worth of campaign and enjoyed it. It could of been much more then what it was (a flying game), but it was fun and the story enjoyable.

15$ is a steal. I'd pick it up.

Yep, great game.

Incredible graphics and the soundtrack is one of the best ever. Some of the missions are very tough since there is so much stuff going on you don't know what you are supposed to do next.

The graphics engine is simply incredible. Absolutely gigantic levels with massive amounts of stuff going on.

You had both the Xbox AND Nintendo fans scared to hell of this game. It had the insane 1080p graphics running on a real next gen PS3 engine along with the developer talking about how such an engine was only possible on the PS3. So you had all the Xbox fans in the media in a frenzy to trash the game.

And then you had the tilting to control the dragons that brought out the Nintendo diehards in the media who felt threatened and needed to defend the Wii's only notable feature over the GameCube, motion controls.

It is funny to watch the reaction of people who pick the game up. Especially people who were gullible enough to fall for the 'bad controls' BS. People invariably try out 'teh fixed controls' and then go right back to the original controls saying how they were much better.

After all, the dragon controls by simply tilting in the direction you want to go. Tilt left, the dragon tilts left.

15 dollars is well worth the price for the game along with a sickening lesson in the blind rage against the PS3 back in 2007.

dude...I only own a PS3...and am very happy with it...

but I rented this game for $3 when it released...and want my money back...the motion controls are not whats bad...its everything else...

10 - You can say wat you want about Lair
but i enjoyed it. And I'm never selling it. Thanks to all those unfair reviews we'll never see another game like Lair this gen. That makes it a 1 of a kind gem.
